@@VulcanP90 the whole point of a roundabout is to avoid left turns, it's a straight road in a circle. You're never leaving your lane to the left, I guess I didn't think of multi lane roundabouts though, there you obviously have to signal left if you change lane from the outside to the inside

Yeah. All you want to know is if the car intends to exit the roundabout, which is indicated by signaling right. Signaling left requires the other cars keeping track of where you entered from, which isn't really feasible in a big roundabout or one with ornaments in the middle obstructing the view. The only roundabout I've ever signaled left in was a really tiny one. Basically just a regular crossing with a roundabout sign in the middle. Though they've since replaced it with a proper roundabout.
