- 7:42 Linda Hamilton played Sarah Connor in the Terminator franchise and is one of best bad asses in movies. Up there with Ripley from the Alien franchise - Yep King really likes psychic or telekinetic characters in his stories. Shinning, Carrie, Firestarter, The Langoliers, The Stand even in IT and probably a lot more - Recommend Nostlagiaween reviews: The Shininng Mini series, Maximum Overdrive, Sleepwalkers - More works from Stephen King Devil - Another work from Shyamalan. Where jam on toast plays a role in the story. The Haunting - One of Doug's most despised movies.. Scary Godmother - Nothing special. Just find it one of his funnier reviews

You know what’s crazy and actually scary about that Haunted house joke at the end of the review? It’s not really as far off from reality as you might think. There’s this place called McCamey Manor (not sure if it’s still in business), where they actually tortured you in awful ways that are just barely tame enough not to get in trouble with the law. They make you sign papers, giving them permission to do that crap to you, so they can go that hard.

Late reply but here's a funny meme; those documents actually hold little power in any court of law. You can't legally sign away your rights as a human in any capacity. If they were to actually hurt you there, you could absolutely and easily sue the sh*t out of him. A business can't legally harm a person because they signed a piece of paper. Even waivers that run the risk of death still don't have THAT much power in court if the proper measures weren't taken to make sure things weren't100% safe and the people behind it didn't do everything in their power to account for certain issues.

Another video you can watch from Stephen King is Sleepwalkers that critic reviewed a few years back, as it's crazy how that movie plays out, as well as maybe old by everyone favorite direct M night shamaloen, even if it's not halloween based it is technically a horror film.

Hard to believe that John Franklin (Isaac) is now 63 years old since this movie came out and also played Cousin It from the 1991 Addams Family movie. Stephen King + James Cameron = Sarah Conner. Way to go Linda Hamilton since she managed to do both Children Of The Corn and The Terminator in 1984… MY BIRTH YEAR!

If you didn't know, the "Extreme Haunted House" is referencing a REAL haunted house event that you had to sign a waiver for and they ACTUALLy would assault and torture you. It was very disturbing.

I only know of one in St. Louis thats similar but they basically randomly drag away people during the haunted house tour and throw them in a torture chamber dungeon with a creepy guy just sitting there watching them stay put.
