you can get in to the freedom armory by killing only the guard you just need to push a red barrel near him and shoot it he will die and everyone will still be neutral to you.

You can also get the vintar in a stash in X16, it's in an electrical box in the elevator shaft you climb down to enter

You can get into the Freedom armoury without killing anyone you just need a chair to stand on. No this is no joke the guard gives no fucks. Also you can get ammo for the Vintar if you can get up to the attic(I suspect the devs wanted the Vintar and its ammo to be on the attic as a stash but the game went нет. But considering what happens to corpses is it surprising? )

Vintars are in the electrical panel down in the elevator shaft of the research lab, the manhole cover at the Freedom base, and a few other places. You have to be given the "clue" from searching a dead body though. Also you can get in behind with the barkeep at Rostok if you piss off the two bodyguards. One will come out after you and you can then regain your weapon on exit and kill him. Usually the c'mon guy will go enemy on you too and the only way to kill him is to throw in grenades while he is still in front of the stairway. I've never been able to get his weapon. It always falls out of your reach, but you can always loot his body. Nothing special on either one, but you're then able to go see what's behind the bar and there's nothing special there either. I don't know what the trigger is - experience? - but I'm able to kill Neutrals on the Duty base w/o them going enemy on you.

And if you climb the tower next to the barracks to jump on the roof you'll find ammo for the Vintar in the attic

fn2000 only possible to find in cherno NPP...ir was it in Pripyat... umm cant remember , but the point is that you cannot get the waepon even 1/2 way thru the game.. its near the end
