Cat’s tend to bond and show affection with a small recognizable group of people and a lot of cats bond strongly with only one person, so people who don’t own cats assume cats aren’t loving because they only ever see other people’s cats who they don’t have that relationship with. Then once they get a cat that bonds with them they start loving cats.

@@williamhardee8863 Well a 1998 study from the UK disagrees with you. Corrobarated by modern investigations on Egyptian mummies. Which basically means most people who have had to clean cat poo since then (long before modern sanitation methods) are very likely to have passed the parasite around for generatins. Which is why roughly an eighth of the world population is currently infected. In fairness until Cat hoarders are medically studied post-mortem we won't know the full extent of the parasites ability to "control" an animal the size of a human, but ignoring the current and emerging science behind the subject is rather naive and who knows your reaction to such evidence could in the futute show that people are more far gone in this "control" than first thought. Good luck to you and your furry master. Haha

God I was not expecting the discourse about the dress to come up again during a cat video lol. That whole debate got so unnecessarily heated when it first started, people got real angry at each other over a freaking dress lol. I'm in the camp of seeing at White and gold HOWEVER I can also see that it has a blue tinge to it. When I first saw it I knew something was off as while I saw white and gold something in my mind was telling me it wasn't. Lo and behold it was proven to be blue and black, there was even a video showing the dress in the picture in different lighting and it was blue and black. Tbh it looks better as white and gold xD Also about cheetahs I do recall that while they are the fastest cat out there their endurance is nowhere near as much as humans, even a lion can beat a cheetah in endurance.

I suppose the problem with the dress is, it messes with peoples perception of reality. Which makes people feel dumb if they choose the "incorrect" choice. If you lived for 60 years and thought the sky was Red and then one day every person told you, you were wrong and it's blue and always has been, you'd probably feel some kind of way about it. haha

I am actually one of those that the infamous dress argument works to mess with me because I flip back and forth. I at one point see black and blue, then in another point I see white and gold. And it will even be in the same video, like this reaction I saw both color sets of the dress as you guys argued. It's fascinating because in the end reality for us is just how light reflects off an object and the cones in our eyes perceive the info of light. We cannot confirm if the info our brains receive is exactly correct, it is more what the majority agree something is, but what says we might be seeing something slightly different like a shade off, but not enough to register color blindness of any sort? Love how this started such a debate at the start lol.

The interesting thing is…if you were to ask someone in the ancient world “What color is the sky?”, they wouldn’t have said blue. In many ancient languages, there wasn’t even a word for blue. A lot of times it could mean green. For instance, if you go to Japan and see there green traffic lights, they look blue. In Old Japanese, the word ‘ao’ meant both blue and green.

Ello, im a scientist and about the dress colors thing. We all have color receptors and they are all diffrent for diffrent people. I see gold and white, but when I squirt my eyes i see black and purple or blue. Its about perception, thats why some people are better at painting than ithers, they porcije colors diffrently. Its also about how light or dark you see

I have 5 cats and two dogs. My pit and Chihuahua have more similarities than any of my cats, even those that are siblings. Fluffernutter is super laid back, accepts new pets immediately, loves belly rubs, and will eat anything not nailed down. Dude hates most other cats (loves my pit) has a perpetual bad attitude, will take you arm off if you touch his belly, is super picky about food, and is totally a mommy's boy.

I've been pretty much in the white and gold camp, but I would see how someone would accept the blue and black - I would be more inclined to factor in that it could be the lighting and how it's shaded in the shot, the quality of the camera and whatever else that might be reflecting around it. The dark area would still strike me as being possibly gold, but under under the conditions mentioned, which made it seem too muddy to be black, so to me it felt fitting to reject the blue and black option; that whatever it is, that certainly isn't black - that would come to be the primary thing ruling that out. So then with that I'd let my brain sorta colour correct for me, but I could always let myself see the blue hue but I'd just stand by it being an illusion. And so apparently it came out that it was blue and black - I basically accept it, but I think reasoning for white and gold has merit; like some points for the working even though the answer was wrong. So I guess something about my thinking (at least dealing with that) would be more towards being less willing to trust something presented to at me just face value and preferring to work it out with the idea of potential surrounding factors... but still willing enough to hear out the other argument - since I would make out the blu hue, but white was more compelling in the end. 9:34

When you are choosing a kitten, decide what you want from a cat. If you want a mouser, take a toy mouse with you and throw it in among the kittens, whichever one pounces on it and scratchea at it, is a hunter, your mouser. If you want a cuddly love muffin, pick the kittens up one at a time and hold it like a baby. If it accepts this and purrs, you have your lovable cat. If it struggles and wants down, that kitten will be aloof and want attention on its own terms. Most importantly is were you get your cat from. If from a house with small kids, chances are the kittens will all be aloof by being manhandled by the small kids. They will always see small kids as a danger, even in to their adulthood. This, being the main reason you should choose pets as a family. And if you are planning to have children and want a cat before hand, remember what to look for when you get your cat

The torquoise colour for instance, some see blue, sone see green and the rest see torquoise. We both see something as blue, but we could be seeing different shades of blue, where as someone who is colourblind may see gray...

See he actually changed the lighting mid video but even then some people cant see the correct color because all are eyes are different the first time he shows it it has a filter the makes it easier to see blue the second time its got yellow lighting the makes your eyes see the white gold. If it still looks the same to you it probably means your brain is slow at differentiating lightning and color.

To this day, I still see white and gold when my entire household saw blue and black. They thought I was joking because everyone else saw blue and black, but I couldn't see it no matter how hard I tried. My guess is that it has to do with lighting and how our bodies, as individuals, perceive those lights. For example, my mom and I would see a green-yellow color and she might call it yellow while I'll see it as green. An orange-red color could be more red to me while it could be more orange to her. Lighting complicates that because of how white versus black works and the intensity of gold and blue. All just theories though.

Women and older people disproportionately saw the dress as white and gold. The researchers further found that if the dress was shown in artificial yellow-coloured lighting almost all respondents saw the dress as black and blue, while they saw it as white and gold if the simulated lighting had a blue bias. It literally changes. It's not because of eye "problems" its how you perceive light.

@@Bob-lr2xp okay? It says disproportionately not all. It also says some small minority still couldn't see the difference even with the lighting change. My point is it's black and blue it's just your brains perception of the lighting. I'm 21 but I can see black and blue or white and gold depending on the lighting. The first time the video shows it it has a filter to take out the light and it's black and blue. The second time it has the bright yellow lighting and it's white and gold. If your eyes can't defrentiate it's just a unique trait to your perception a minority.

Women and older people disproportionately saw the dress as white and gold. The researchers further found that if the dress was shown in artificial yellow-coloured lighting almost all respondents saw the dress as black and blue, while they saw it as white and gold if the simulated lighting had a blue bias. It's in your head. It's how the lighting is received. The dress changed mid vivideo for me probably because my brain decided it was white and gold instead midway through.
