I searched morning yin yoga in the youtube engine and this was what I clicked on. This was the first yin yoga I've ever done, and it reminds me so much of curling up under a blanket and taking a break from the world for several hours even though it's a 30minute class where I'm stretched out on a mat. I looked for an instructor who came off as a mother-figure years ago, and I find I"m too old for that on most days. A person's never too old for a sister or friend. Even though we don't know each other at all, this was a great relief for more than just the yoga. I'm hooked. I'm going to be slowly working my way through your other videos, and keeping an eye out for new ones.

Hi Aprille, I've been doing your videos regularly this past week, at least 2 per day...sometimes 3 lol! My breathing is much more consistent now and my body awareness has improved tremendously! I didn't know that I needed yin and restorative as much as I do to heal. I was doing it here and there but with no real consistency. I was doing mostly kundalini, hatha, and vinyasa flows...which I truly love to do, but I was still suffering from so much chronic tension. It was affecting everything in my life, especially my sleep quality. I still have a ways to go but your calming videos and voice, and the quiet space you allow for us to receive the gift of healing and letting ago is a god send for me. Such a perfect combination of stress relief! So glad I found you and started really exploring your offerings!

I too LOVE vinyasa flow and hatha but have found that Yin and Restorative serve an altogther different purpose - one of softness, release, and introspection. I suffered from a panic/anxiety attack yesterday at work! A lot of chaos in my emotional life, but it sure was unexpected, and not recognized as such until hours later, at home. So this practice has been perfect. Later I'll do the longer version. THANK YOU APRILLE!
