If I could change 1 thing in America, this question is simple. Take away Qualified Immunity from Police Officers!!! Meaning they do something that is illegal like detaining or arresting a person for no reason. They would be forced to pay the Law Suit instead of us tax payers paying for their mistakes.

I agree that removing Immunity would be a good and would help hold police accountable accountable for their actions. But as soon as that happens every cop will be " We can't do our jobs if we're worried about break the laws ourselves (or something like that same shit that they said about body cams) or the police union will say they'll strike if they do that saying some bs about it going against union rules or something like that. But I would go a little farther and say then if you turn off or "forget" to turn on your body cam and you make a arrest, not only should the lack of video should be used in favor of the arrested, and if they keep it up fired on the spot and charged with possible tampering and dereliction of duties and face jail time
