I know it’s hard to understand but people do have their reasons. For one, people get institutionalized. While I was doing time I knew a guy who murdered someone specifically to come back. He preferred being incarcerated. A lot of guys end up like that.

Ref the woman who killed her mother with veterinary drugs....if the mother was indeed dying of dementia, it's difficult to blame the daughter. My mom was in care for the last 3 years of her illness (I had taken care of her for the previous 8 years, but her situation became too acute). At the beginning, my mom was perfectly content at the home; smiling at any caregiver who approached her (pretty clear that she was well treated). While she was content, I was happy. Her last 6 months were hard to live through, she was vacant, basically just surviving. One day when i went in to feed her, I was informed that she was now kept in her room as she had forgotten how to swallow and was terminal. They stabbed her mouth but gave her no Foo or liquids. She died horribly over the next week. I wanted to smother her myself. It was horrible. She looked like the Screaming Mummy and must have been in agony, although she would not have recognized what was going on. I am still traumatized and swear that I will not go out that way.

Hospice is a horrible way to die. Even death row inmates are treated with dignity compared to hospice. Dogs are out to sleep mercifully . They are not on morphine for days not able to breath deeply , eat , or drink until they die of thirst. This is a very painful way to kill someone. Their lungs fill with fluids while they suffocate . Anyone who’s watched this nightmare unfold would not want it done to them.

Destination weddings! They are expensive stupid and overindulgent. Not everyone can afford this. Now your wedding party and family has to pony up the money to get wherever they have to be. A need for quick cash can lead some people to knock over a liquor or convenience store. Plenty of ill-will on tap!

If anything you should do, do one just on Oregon and all the sick people that have done sick things to others in the state like the Weaver family! If you kill the person who gave you life, it should be a mandatory life sentence no matter where it happens. If someone kills their own parents who's to say they won't kill a random person or another loved one when they are released? Lock em up and throw away the key or you're just asking for another murder to happen in the future. Some of these judges give out sentences that are straight up disrespectful to the victims families.
