My favorite "When cheating goes wrong" is the case of Staff Sgt. Scott Ansman of the National Guard. He was a 34-year-old guard for an Armory in California. This Armory had a policy where it doubled as a homeless shelter in the winter. Ansman, who is married, began having an affair with a 29-year-old homeless woman named JoAnn Crystal Harris. Eventually, Harris tells Ansman that she is pregnant. Ansman is panicking that this will get him in trouble both with his wife and his higher-ups. Ansman's Plan A is to convince Harris to have an abortion, but that fails. Ansman's Plan B is to get Harris to drink some concoction meant to cause a miscarriage, but that fails too. Ansman's Plan C is then to club Harris to death, which he does. Ansman is charged with first-degree murder. During trial, the autopsy report reveals that Ansman was not the father of Harris's child.

A police heli was circling the prison, so they either suspected something or something had happened, but then I would think they would stop the circling and search further away. I really do want to see this one! This topic will always take me back to the story of when this teenage girl was killed inside of her home, and during the investigation, the local police realized that the FBI had that family under surveillance due to possible “terrorism,” so when they listened to the tapes to see if they could figure out what happened, they caught her mom and dad on audio taking her life because she was dating after they had forbid her to, but she was in love with a boy outside of her race. I believe the father was sentenced to death and the mother to life in prison.

Basically the brother’s younger sister was treated so horribly by the parents and grandmother than she eventually killed herself and her existence was completely ignored by the whole family except the brother. He eventually got revenge on the grandmother by staging a robbery after choking her to death then left his parents alive to suffer evermore. I don’t remember if they did die of old age or something but they never found out what the brother did while mourning the death of the grandmother while still ignoring the young sister’s death.
