Simply update to 6.61 OFW, that also removes the perma patch :) Then just follow the video and apply ARK, use the Full Installer and then finally the CIPL Installer.

Just a few months after I bought myself a PSP 1000, now the 3000 model is capable of doing everything the 1000 can and becomes objectively the better option to have. Oh well.

hello, i have installed ark-4 cIPL on my psp go, and psp isos works great... but any psx game either gives me an error or a black screen. any idea why? i'd like to play ff9/tactics on it. weird thing is, i have a ps vita and the adrenaline psp emulator, there my psx eboot works fine but they give me a black screen on the psp go. why?

I followed this channel for long long time and seeing this video truly reminds me of the M33 days. Such a speechless accomplishment. I just installed everything on my 3000 04g model and its just amazing. Everything works likes it should and I got the DC menu working. The only problem I have is that 1 game out of my entire library doesn't work which is a hack version of Final Fantasy 7 which is called "survival" and when launching the game within 15 seconds the psp shuts down. Not sure why it won't launch it , If anyone has a idea why it won't work please let me know so I can fix it. I really love this hack version of FF7. Other than that its truly a legendary feat the scene has accomplished. Edit: Redownloaded the game and I guess the author of the hack updated the game and it works just fine as intended.

@TheZett , I have installed ARK FULL, then cIPL, everything works perfect on my PSP1000, The only thing that doesn't work is booting to the DC menu when I press/hold the L button, but it only works when I use the Pandora battery. I also installed ARK DC Installer. Thank you for the video's.

Did you also use the DC Installer and made it prepare your memory stick? Simply copying over the installer itself doesnt allow you to boot it via "hold L", you have to use the DC Installer first, before your can boot DC via "hold L" or pandora/sweeper kit.

I found the problem, When starting cIPL Flasher I had to choose install "New cIPL" by pressing the L button instead of the X button which will install a normal cIPL. This is indeed the best CFW ever made 👌 Thank you.

WHen I try to install ARK no vsh menu no recovery no cfw menu under "extra" on xmb had to go back to stock ofw 6.61 and move back over to 6.61 lme for now

Because it is the same panel and same resolution, but physically smaller, so the density of pixels is higher (and therefore looks like it is of higher quality).

When I start my PSP and Hold - L Trigger it simply boots into XMB it does not load DC10. what do I do wrong? I created a MAgic Memory Stick with the ARK DC homebrew and it worked without any errors.

I had this problem too, when you start cIPL Flasher choose to install "New cIPL" by clicking the L button, you have to choose New cIPL, if you click the X button instead it's not gonna work. So, install New cIPL with L and on the next screen X, that should do the trick. (Remember to restore the original IPL first by clicking the O button, restart cIPL Flasher and then choose L then X).

I got 5 PSP's and started with one above TA-88 so no other option to use new cIPL. than I finished with my PSP's with TA 81 and 85 that can run the classic old IPL so I don't keep atention that the cIPL installer is different on them. MAn you are my hero I had NEVER figured THAT out by my own xDD. I wondered Why is it working on brite and above but not on phat and slim xD

​@@DaOptimus1 , The only reason I did that is because I couldn't install the "New cIPL", the L option was gone. When I selected "O" back to original the "L" option to install the "New cIPL" came back.

Can you please help me Chronoswitch is completely useless none of any versions that I can find on the internet work at all whatsoever on my PSP GO they all do the exact same thing which is light up the wifi led and the Bluetooth led then instantly shut down the system and do absolutely nothing I'm so angry right now how could such software be developed for so long and just not even do what it's claimed to do there's nothing I'm doing wrong I followed the steps that the developers are saying to do the only thing I can be doing wrong is what absolutely noone is saying that I should be doing

That is only important if you want to use DC10 via BaryonSweeper, for the L boot feature that isnt important. If you DO want to use DC10 with BaryonSweeper though, then you can use PSPTool itself to format the memory stick, so it has enough boot sector space for the IPL injection (the recommendation of "using the Team C+D msipl format pc tool" is outdated).

Question that hopefully someone here can answer. I installed Ark and the cipl. The system is fully on the Ark 4 cipl that your system shows. But for some reason after installing it my system battery no longer works? I’m hoping it’s just maybe bad timing? Maybe my battery decide to stop working? Like immediately after installing I hooked my PSP back up to PC to start looking at downloading some games. And then my PSP spontaneously died and no longer accepts a charge. It will turn on via external power only. And in battery settings it only says external power. I also find that the system boots a bit slow now? Like the background will show up on the system but it takes a few second for the actual icons to show up. Meanwhile yours shows up pretty instantaneously. Idk if it’s a charge port issue, a battery issue, maybe somehow an internal issue? Very confused here lol.

Sounds like you somehow managed to make your battery into a Pandora's Battery, which makes it work only as a service mode battery. You can watch MrMario2011 video called "Setting Up & Talking About Pandora's Battery: The Legendary PSP 1000/2000 Unbricker" in around 28:50 min mark he shows how to make a Pandora's Battery back to normal. But I do recommend watching the full video. Odd that a battery suddenly stops working after installing Ark 4 but I don't know how its possible to make a battery into a Pandora's Battery unless you intentionally installed PSP Tool and changed the serial to create the Pandora Battery. It could also be just a coincidence that your battery died the same time you installed Ark 4. I'm not sure just my two cents hope it can give you some more insight on what the cause may be.

@@Kiz-xe5kr thanks for the reply! It turns out the battery did just kick the bucket at an inopportune time. I bought a newer (better) battery (Ostent) and realized that my battery really was going out. It was dying super quick and I just hadn’t realized. The other battery was just a no name replacement I got a few years back. Everything’s great with the new battery.

Ich finde das ark-4 wirklich sehr gut gelungen ist allerdings hsbe ich ein Problem mit einem plugin egal wie ich es installiere ob homebrew, iso oder game id das Spiel das das plugin anwenden sollte hängt sich beim Start direkt auf per umd/iso plugin installiert lassen sich garkeine spiele(isos) starten (direkt psp aus) Auf 6.20 lme perma lief alles noch besten... Also bin ich leider gezwungen wieder auf 6.20 zu downgraden

Du kannst die CIPL jetzt auch mit 6.61 LME/ME-2.3 benutzen, ganz ohne ARK, wenn dir das lieber ist.

Once the ARK CIPL is installed, it specifically allows you to unbrick your PSP via its "hold L" feature, by booting straight into DC10 (if that one is properly set up on the memory stick), all without requiring a BaryonSweeper (on any model). Additionally, (any) CIPL allows you to install themes and other mods directly into the flash0, if for some reason you want to do that.

You need to be running firmware 6.61, not 6.50 or 6.60.

@@TheZett yes im on 6.61. if i was on lower than that, the cipl will say not supported firmware. Anyway. I solved it by first launching the arc 4 loader, then launching the full installer and then only installing the cipl. Thanks you very much. Permanent cfw is now working properly
