who doesnt want to have Angel next to him, but to be honest, the steps and explantion from @The Tabletop Artist are far more Beginner Friendly and would improve my skills much more if he would be right next to me ...then later Angel can join :)

Thanks for another good guide Dan! Do you varnish your minis after painting?

Yes every time. I use matt spray. But i varnish after taking photos cause varnish change tone of colors a little. it is making them darker.

If I don’t have an airbrush, what would you recommend for priming.

I would recommend spray cans.

So did you prime in black and then in blue? Does it matter if I only prime in one color?

Actually i did same, i only primed in blue that model. If you prime it black it will be easier to apply paints on top of it. But if not you can go straight with blue and prime it 2 thin layers, but it will be much easier to chip paint so you have to be really careful. And also if you with non primer paint on metal maybe it wont stick properly and it will run around and wont have good coverage.

Do you apply the washes with your good brush? or do you have a special one for these type of work ? my brushes looks very used after short peroid of time, and not sure if I have to invest more Money...on the other side I fear to ruin that good brush as well hahahah. Squidmar made a video...an there he told ...no washes o glazes etc everything would harm the brush ....

I use older brushes for washes or application of contrast paints. Even for base paint i use older brush and mostly doing highlights and fine works with my expensive brushes. Usually i use 3 old and 2 good brushes. I used this 5 brushes for almost a year now. And it is true contrast paints and washes will damage brushes over time.

@@TheTabletopArtist another Question :) what Base you got for Painting the Miniatures..is it a special one for holding the Corvus Belli Minis ? I clued them on the 25mm Bases they came with

@@fredl91 I use some random old bases i have from GW, then after i am done i transfer them to their origanal base. But it is just my way because i am messy when doing base so i dont want to ruin my work.
