All M5 , M6, M8 ,X5Ms, X6Ms all have the same engine S63tu subtle changes from 2013 for the engine , the weak point of the engine is the pistons and rods and fuel injectors, unfortunately, with a tuned car making 23lbs of boost and injection goes bad equals boom , blown piston bent rod or both , don’t ask me how I know 🥲, needs a complete rebuild , better to forge the rods and pistons , I know a guy

It seems the engine has to be built inside out before adding good power to it. Correct me if I’m wrong. Hope everything can get fix, and come back stronger than ever before. I have a LCI, the main issue with pre LCI in both M5 even the the M550 is the turbo location being in the middle of the V making it overheat thus burning oil wayyy faster.
