Hi. I love hearing why you choose certain ingredients and what they do in the batter/dough. For me, it makes it easier to remember to do it and, frankly, I just like to know stuff. So, I vote that you keep doing it and I also vote that you ignore anyone who says you shouldn't.

I love this! I always have extra frosting after doing cakes that I don’t know what to do with. I make chocolate Dipped truffles sometimes out of them but this gives me a new outlet. Thanks for sharing

This looks so good! I love that it’s not teeth-clenching sweet! I LOVE big fat cookies, but some of the recipes are SO sweet. If I want to tone down the sweetness, but desperately want to keep the height as is, what should I do? Decrease sugar by 25%?

@SugarSpunRun Because of your teachings, I finally made chocolate chip cookies that did not spread out flat but kept a puffed up shape. I added baking powder along with baking soda because you said if we used the cake type flour, that would happen. So I added the baking powder that is in cake flour, and it worked! If I have to bake, I know you are the best one on Utube to learn from and get the best recipes! I can not bake too much because I am overweight and unfortunately have to stay away from baking. You keep a nice figure. Are there any tips to be able to bake but not get so overweight from it? That would help us out a lot. Maybe you could encourage us in a video about that. I'm sure many would appreciate it greatly! Especially with the holidays coming. Thank you for your great videos! 👍😋

Question. I just want to make chocolate chip cookies. No frosting. But a healthier cookie alternative. Could i just follow your cookie dough recipe and use Splenda sugar and brown sugar sweetener (0 calorie sweetener substitute) use a lower calorie butter, swap the cake flour for all purpose, use low calorie no sugar added chocolate chips and end up with a lower calorie good tasting cookie? Do you think this would turn out good?

Have you tried the homemade substitute for cake flour? I think you basically take some of the all purpose flour out and add corn starch and then sift it 3 times. I was wondering what you thought bc I have a hard time finding cake flour.

I made her cinnamon pop tart cookies with regular flour, cake flour and homemade cake flour. I gave everyone 3 cookies and made them do a taste test. Everyone loved the cake flour one. I personally liked the regular flour. It tasted more like a cookie to me:). And the homemade cake flour I don’t think anyone saw a big difference. Hope that helps:)

My frosting/stuffing melted quite a bit into the cookie. I'm going to try adding some flour, and freeze it longer. I actually used the "pop tart" cookie recipe, added cocoa and used this filling for a "cookies and cream" pop tart version to go with the other pop tart cookies.
