Both formats are wonderful ... I also like that your granddaughter is so involved ... that must warm your heart ... I love all of your recipes and make your Arancini often ... I also hope that every once in a while, you & your granddaughter will work together on transforming a few of your recipes to a Vegan option ...I have a family member with an allergy to red meat and dairy ... (*although he can have chicken , fowl, turkey & fish ) I'm sure your granddaughter would love to see a few of your recipes transformed . Thanks for all your great recipes! My wife loves her hot chocolate and I'm pretty sure I'm going to blow her away with this recipe! Thank you guys so much for all that you do. You are enhancing my kitchen with every video. You also remind me of my Nona, a beautiful Sicilian woman just like you. I miss her dearly. I miss her cooking, which I never got any of the recipes to. But you are making so many of the things she used to make for me and all the other kids. Thank you so much! I do have a request. There was this very simple pasta dish she used to make for us all the time. I don't know its name. It was just macaroni and lentils. I believe it was possibly just lentil soup (or something like that) that she would then use as a sauce for the macaroni. Do you make that dish, or at least know of it by chance? I am very sorry to hear of the flooding, but I enjoyed this version too! I made the Italian hot chocolate with cashew milk after I saw the original video, and I never had such a good hot chocolate before! You're right, it is very close to pudding!

I always liked the pudding skin too! 😂 I made this recipe after watching your grandmother’s video awhile back; it’s so delicious. I’m American, but I don’t like American hot cocoa. I like a thick rich chocolate, so this was a good fit for me.

My great grandparents on my dad's side are from Italy and Ireland. Unfortunately, I was unable to meet them, and we do not have many recipes from Italy passed down. I am making it so that I have recipes from Italy to be able to pass down even though I have never been to there before. I want to keep my heritage alive.
