Just a thought, why don't you guys use something like a paddle mixer on a handheld drill to shred all the chunks before you try to unblock? Seems like most of the water drains away when you tip those buckets in, if you created a thick soup first then most would flow out as soon as the blockage is cleared?

When you don't do drain management but when ever it backs up that's on you you should have your drains done once a year if you own it or rent it and stop using wipes that's what blocks 🚫 pipes and roots and by the way if you call plumbers out clean your yards they are disgusting some of them if you think it's easy being a plumber try it yourself.

One person is making the video, so I guess it is not that fair to call that "standing there". Sure, more water would have helped, but I guess they put how much in that manhole - 200 liters just from buckets? 250 liters? What should they have done - call the firebrigade? One mentioned a mixer, the ones you put on drills to mix up wallcolors. This might have been a help here, but in the end it is just a very slow process if you are limited on a single tap for water and making a video the same time...
