The plugs of wipes on the second job were something else, we keep on saying it, ridiculous. That cast iron pipe with the inspection panel, very similar to the pipework installed in Germany. Well done Andy.👍

The cast iron pipe on the second film, very similar to the pipework they have installed in Germany, four nuts holding the inspection panel in place, very good design and very practical.

The companies that make wipes need to say not flushable. There are none that easily break down like paper. I was smelling them from here…..wait….that was my cat ripping one. Great job on the roots and the ton of wipes.

Work one. Kitchen Manhol full. With Roots and Milk Soup! Pressure! How is the Drain?? Roots to plough how Flowers, Pressure and the Soup run down. Other Manhol, Drain block from Wipes between Souce in diverse Colour. Wash is clean. The next Manhol in a Way between behind back, full with Sauce. Pressure go, stop, go stop then run down great Clearing. Good Work

On a serous note, after the drains have been cleared and the bulk of the roots removed would a spay of weedkiller on the walls heip kill off the rest and prevent them coming back?

Weed killer will do nothing to those roots, the active ingredient glyphosate is good when sprayed on leaves, not roots, what you need is something that uses copper sulfate as the active ingredient.

No, I removed a bush in my front garden as it was growing near the path so was in the way. I sprayed the roots with weedkiller as I didn't want to dig to remove them, but every summer the bush grows back.

@@Nick_1072 Hyvar is a solid product. However, you can't exactly go around spraying herbicides into the sewer systems. There are laws against that.

I have never used or ever will use wipes. They are not made to flush, but must be put in a bin. I dont even flush toilet paper. My wife is from South east asia and they only use bum guns. Paper towel's are used to dry yer bits then put in a bin.

Some of that blockage must be 40 years old! Only three things should be flushed in a toilet: Paper, Poop and Pee. Flushable wipes are a joke, yet people still do it.
