My feet actually get this bad during winter. And if I mess with them they bleed. Lotion does nothing. And soaking them just makes the top layer soft and flaky but it doesn't go away..

I get a similar condition, but it's a combination of severely dry skin and wearing combat boots all of the time. It's one of those things that it gets bad quickly then you're scrambling trying to get it better
