Thieaudio Hype 4 vs Simgot EA1000

Very interesting comparison and difficult to decide. Yes the Hype 4 sounds more resolving and engaging as an all rounder but considering price difference, the Simgot is crazy value.

EA1000 have a piercing high frequency peak (8k?). Hype 4 are too high mid focussed. For me anyway.

Hype 4 is a well-balanced model, there’s nothing to complain about - lively and balanced throughout the entire range. I didn’t like EA1000 - some kind of whistle, a whistling, high-frequency sound is noticeable in any track (dry and sharp).

both tuned too bright. simgot is awful for my tastes.
