Sometimes after seeing how some people react and become immediately involved while seeing a “black guy” steal, I think to myself I wish to have seen those same peoples reaction if it had been a white guy instead and capture their genuine reaction with the same scenario and be able to distinguish from there.

Exactly...I think its safe to say that from all available evidence, this Is there geniune reaction...to Overreact when its a black guy doing something and to merely "react" or "under-react" if its a white guy doing it.

Actually, there's a possible situation that you're overlooking, and that they obviously didn't think of.. Think of this.. If it had been a black chick that pulled up and the black dude reached in her car, the reaction would have been slower as well.. People mentally make quick association explainations to try to lower their adrenal reactions to an unexplained event. We try to quickly rationalize things before springing to action.. In otherwords, the brain has to make sure before acting upon a mental accusation. If there are less possibilities for rationalization, we react much faster.. White woman/black man less likely possibilities of family ties, etc.... Black man/ black woman.. The natural quick thoughts are "maybe that's her brother.. or her boyfriend... or her husband" etc, etc, etc. When it becomes more reasonably obvious that it's not, your body/mind reacts. however, the second (younger) set of people sitting there sprung into action instantly even with the white dude, quicker rationalization + higher adrenal reaction in younger men. this is easily seen in the purse snatching episode. If a woman steals a purse even in direct eyesight, the human mind rationalizes it even when it's clear that the purse wasn't hers, and nobody moves... However, when a man steals it, the reaction is instantaneous, because there is no rationalization. *ONE MORE THING* - take a look at the people who watched the white thief run off before the other guys caught him.. They look like their names are "Lance" "Buffy" and "Mr. Belvadere" They were probably appalled by the mans lack of eloquence in disturbing their fucking caviar brunch. Also.. When they did this in In Newyork, the black man was stopped 3/4 of the time, and the white dude was stopped 1/5 of the time.. Meanwhile In Jacksonville they are both stopped the same amount of times EVERYTIME... So in otherwords, what they're saying is that people in NewYork are more racist than in Jacksonville Mississippi..... WHAT?!

@@ArcaneTurbulence About the NY and Jacksonville thing, I know someone really close to me who told me that when he moved to Oregon from SC, he got profiled and stopped by the police Waay more than he was when he was living down in SC.....but on the other hand, South Carolina has a much greater black population than Oregon, which more likely explained why he was more racially targeted in Oregon than in a deep Southern State like SC
