Hey Cheryl, Great Video, I really enjoyed seeing how you made that heart, There was a lot of repetitive actions making this so understand why you did the timelapse, which works great. I understand pretty much everything you did, however someone who doesn't may benefit from a quick voice over on some parts (like you did when cutting the blue glass at the start) just explaining what you have done and why. Like for example using the grinder. I am guessing you were you just taking the sharp edges off the glass pieces, but I'm not 100%. Again great video, thankyou for sharing.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'll be sure to do that next time. I plan to do more in depth short videos on each step as well. Thanks for subscribing, you helped push me over my first 50 goal. I'm just a baby in this KZbin world. :) The grinder takes off any shards left on the cuts, smooths the edges and rounds sharp points, but also gives the glass edges tooth for the foil tape to adhere to it.

Where do you get your stars from and how did you apply them to your glass. Also, why type of ring do you use that you solder to the top?

Hi Patty, the stars are painted on with Pebeo Vitrea 160. Its a water based glass paint that you cure in an oven. Once it is cured, it will not come off. The jump ring at the top is made from tinned copper wire. Thanks for watching! :)

Hi Ann, the stars were painted on using Pebeo Vitrea White Veil paint. The paint is then cured in an oven to make it permanent.
