The sheer beauty of this song is very hard for me to put into the works, Phil masterful sad soulful words, his lyrics real handwritten letter, every word is true, Phil who would put on a show and play the hard man from time but had a heart of gold just like his mother Philomena. This song is pure poetry and similar to many another masterful written song about sorrow, loss, deep regret and loneliness. Written like old Irish folk songs of past happenings dealing with wars, famine, forced emigration. Phil like Rory Gallager was a true genuis. Each and every man in this band Brian, Robbo & Scott played their parts 150Pc, each a masters at his trade, totally dedicated each and every one of them They were THIN Lizzy, one unit, the Fab 4 and Phil would not have it any other way
