Brian's drumming is so memorizing. If you don't really listen, you will miss the unsubtle on/off beats that carry the song. I thought the snare was great, then I realized the bass drum during the rim shots was almost mind blowing! That's what Brain does, makes the complex seem easy. 🥁🥁🥁🥁🎵🎶🎼🥉🥉🥉🥉

Thin Lizzy is highly valued in Europe as 1 of the big influencers on Hard Rock/Heavy Metal in the late 70 - early 80's. Their mixture of two guitarplayers, the harmonys, the irish storytelling aspect, it all made them great. and in the middle stood Mr Phil Lynott.

My favourite is the "classic" line up (Lynott, Gorham, Robertson, Downey), though they did some great stuff with other line ups, especially with Snowy. This song is very touching, we all know people like who Phil sings about. There was no band like them before, and nothing since. Rock and Roll, blues, funk, soul. It's all here. I feel elated and also very sad.
