I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (June 5, Easter 7), we sang this as the Hymn of the Day. I also played it as the closing hymn at a local Lutheran Church that I filled in at. It is #826 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship.

I LOVE this hymn. So poetic. So hopeful. So centered on Christ. Not a single "i" to be heard. God bless Todd Wilken and Will Weedon for featuring it and explaining it to us on Issues, Etc. Thank you Concordia for staying faithful to the scriptures.

I can't believe more people haven't heard of this song, since it's the most creative of most of the hymns.

Pretty slow you could speed the tempo up, but besides that great job.
