Thanks. We have one. Also even though we're dried in, the interior is not finished at all so plenty of air comes in from the gable and fascia vents. We make sure the generator is outside when that runs though.

Norm check your fuel in the larger generator you may have water in your fuel, there is a drain cock that you can open and drain some of. The fuel out and also check your fuel bowl on the carburetor. I use to have a onan 4500 gas generator when temperatures change it would get condensation in fuel tank, and I would have to drain the fuel through the fuel bowel. I also installed a Victron 30 amp dc to dc charger to my gd reflection 303 RLS and wired it from my GMC AT4 truck, best thing I did for my charging of my batteries for the trailer. Good luck and I hope this helps.

The accident with the Tripod is a good reminder to double check where Jazz is when you are on the big machines; she could easily run quickly while you are driving and get run over. This happened to my girlfriend when she was driving her car in the driveway and ran over her dog about same size as Jazz and unfortunately the dog died…doesn’t take much for these little dogs to be injured (or killed)-they move so quickly scurry around having fun.

Hey Norm.. I’ve read that when removing snow on a gravel driveway, instead of plowing forward (which gouges into the gravel), that “back dragging” is the idea method to minimize damage. I know this video was recorded well over a month ago but, jic you didn’t know. Beautiful seeing all the snow.
@tobyatencio6698
@tobyatencio6698 10 ай бұрын
Once the gravel is frozen the plow won't gouge the driveway. Regardless, every spring you'll see lots of people regrading their driveways to cover up the gouges and put the crown back on the road, myself included. 😂
@MountainBeaches
@MountainBeaches 10 ай бұрын
Good point. There were two reasons the driveway was getting damaged. #1, my first time with the plow, and #2 the ground wasn't frozen yet. Once it freezes that is no longer a problem as Toby already mentioned. Thanks for the suggestion.

The picture of the tripod was an example of how production cost spiral guys as those ever present oops seem to follow us all. The generators sure save the day when they are available but boy went they don’t run it’s really disappointing. I’m sure that you will figure out what’s wrong with the big generator Norm as you investigate this situation. As the date shows this was over a month ago and from what I’ve seen the snow could have only gotten deeper and not sure if Kim and you Norm will subject yourselves to any brutal winter weather. But as always you both carry on thru thick or thin as today January 21st in my neck of the woods it’s a balmy 7 above zero and have know interest in venturing outside. @MountainBeaches you need it. Without it in the barndo, the heaters inside the trailer won't keep up. You will end up with condensation and mold inside the trailer. The barndo heater was a wise decision. I was relieved when I saw you got the good one.
