Love a good high school love triangle. August is written from the pov of the “other” woman, who Taylor said she imagined her name as August or Augusta. August talks about how he was never hers to lose. Betty is written from James’s perspective. He tries to tell Betty that it (August) was just a summer thing but he loves her. And Cardigan is written from Betty’s perspective. She talks about how she knew he (James) would come back to her. And she was right. Taylor said she imagined Betty and James ending up together,but that he really put them through it. IMO, James is a tool lol! Fun fact, Betty, James and Inez are the names of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds girls! They’re close friends.
