oh yea!! it was bad corrugations!!! but a magical spot that we found in the end. will need to try again sometime to get to that other site! :) thank you

Good call turning back on that corrugated road. If I owned a Triton I would have done the same thing. Correct tyre pressures and correct speed is the key on corrugations.

@@margieandtim check out some of Karstan and Maxine's old videos of their travels in their Kombi. By comparison, you and your kids will feel luxuriated on rough roads in your setup 😀

Well done guys! Do you watch Lil and Jake? They will show you hard caravanning! I agree though corrugations are horrible. It's been said that if you go fast enough, the tires will only hit the tops of the bumps and not the troughs and then it's a much ride. I don't think I'd be willing to go THAT fast to try the theory out, not with kids in the car and a caravan on the ball joint!

hahaha, yea we're not keen on testing that theory!! but heard that it does work! perhaps when we don't have the guys in the back seat 'helping'!!! yea, Lil and Jake have some great adventures :) those corrugations were horrible!!! like a meter or so between tops!!

could have used the corrugations to your advantage - eg. a sealed tub of water with some detergent add the washing, great agitation. 😁😁

haha same road and same error came up on my MR triton.... it sorted itself out when we got onto smooth roads again. Terrible corrugations there

Hi guys, I remember in your first video you mentioned that one of your adorable kids could be challenging at times. Tim looks a bit like a 1990s MICK DOOHAN. On those corrugated roads I would be everyday. Just checking anything that's bolted, to the car or Caravan. Even UHF antenna. If they come undone. They are gone forever. Someone elses present

hahaha he's had that a few times and at work - and he works in a yamaha shop!!! guess what! we actually did loose the UHF antenna on the way to that camp site that we ended up in! i was looking out the front window and was like 'what was that!!', luckily we stopped and i walked back 50m and it was there! so lucky!! didn't have my camera to capture that thou!!! will check it again on the next corugations!!!! :)

@@margieandtim also check all spot lights any thing that's not factory. Those things are not set for torque wrench secifications. Even your recovery board's if you have them. They always come loose.
