This was during the pandemic in 2021, it was decided that Seventeen would be promoting as 11 members in Korea whilst The8 and Jun focus on China activities that were postponed because of the pandemic. The lockdown protocols kept changing so it was better to plan a specific amount of time so they can focus and to not waste time with having to self quarantine every time they go in and out of a country.
