The Pride of Saskatoon, SK. Some haunting riffs from Bryan Potivn on this cut, against a cold and stark yet beautiful badlands of Alberta. Rock on boys, rock on!
I feel so fortunate to have grown up with so many amazing Canadian bands. Only Americans in border cities heard these artists.

Reminds me of a GREAT trip to Victoria BC. When somebody gives you shroom-spiked tea and doesn't tell you... Weird things can happen... And THIS was playing when I thought I was having some kind of weird food poisoning, while everyone in on it started laughing at me. I'll never forget that song. At least they watched over me so I wouldn't do anything stupid after that shroom-infused tea, and the next morning I puked my guts out. My one and only experience. Too much disconnect if you ask me. And a very grumpy stomach for a few days after. Just like I'll never listen to Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" again, because I had that stupid cassette playing on auto-reverse all night in my bright yellow Sony Walkman, when I got REALLY sick with my first, stupid, football team drinking binge... When I hear that song play, I get sick all over again. I couldn't even SMELL Rhum for about 10 years after that. I had WAY too many Zombies that evening. The things I did to be a team player... I wouldn't do again. I thought I was being practical, now I'm just not really sociable. Whatever,, it rhymes... It's a cool song. Sorry about my meandering who-cares story... That song just popped those memories right out of hibernation. Sounds and Smells will do that.
