What I do with the Reserve thing is that I plan my 25 man squad prior to the season beginning with 2 players for every position, one is my 10/10 best player in that position, and the other is maybe a 7/10. Player 1 is a Star Player, Important Player or Regular Starter, and Player 2 is a Squad Player or Backup Player - that gives my 22 players who are First Team ready, the remaining 3 players I have my best young Prospects in. Then I simply rotate 2/3 players every couple of games (except for Goalkeepers, my Number 1 plays every League game, Number 2 plays in the Domestic Cups) I’ve found that it keeps everyone’s fitness up, keeps them sharp and builds connections throughout the team

@@Axel-qf4cy a lower intensity tactic doesnt necessarily mean that your players are going to be playing with a lower intensity. think of it like this if you are playing as a team from ligue 2 with a low intensity tactic and you come up against psg, your players are going to be tired regardless of what the tactic screen says. player tiredness is tied directly to what they do on the pitch obviously. I think you have a misunderstanding of how the game works. if you tell a player to tackle harder he is clearly at more risk of injury, same as if you tell him to run up and down the wing all the time... its impossible to get injured if youre standing still but if you are doing high intensity sprints up and down the pitch for 90 mins there is a chance you can pull your hamstring. also when resting players from training the down side is they wont get any of the benefits from training like tactical familiarity or stat boosts and the thing called 'recovery' after every match it improves your players condition and reduces injury risk

Regarding position/role training: I'm going to ask for evidence on this one :p I would certainly believe that lack of role training means less focused training so if you wanted specific attributes, that's a problem. But I've seen no evidence that it affects general CA development, developed plenty of guys to 180+ CA while leaving them on default playing position training. Not trusting attributes: I think they'd be more trustworthy if we could see the hidden attributes, which matter a LOT. Evidence Based FM did a vid where they showed an SI quote estimating a guy with 1 consistency is going to be about 10 whole CA worse than one with 20, and the effect is more pronounced with better players (aka the Prem). And then Big Matches, turns out the most important variable there is COMPETITION reputation (again, very relevant to the Prem) Great vid, I love watching the mistakes, failures and learning!

I use the data hub all the time and it has helped me win games like no other tool. It can be simple stuff, like seeing how the opposition is going to set up tactically so I can make a small adjustment to counter their plans. I feel like it’s soooo helpful to have some information on your opposition so you can make the right changes at the right time. I was playing Man U in the UCL and noticed that they score like crazy but they can’t defend worth shit. So instead of having a high line, I dropped them off a bit but when we got the ball we attacked relentlessly. We were able to out score them and move on to the finals. I played Chelsea and saw their scoring abilities we dismal for the season but their defense was really strong. So I risked more in defense, as well as remained patient when we didn’t score right away. I was able to go through beating them 1-0 and drawing them 0-0. I wasn’t as anxious as I would have been because I knew the type of matches I was getting into. You can’t predict everything but having something to go off of can be absolutely key. It only takes 1 goal to win a match. So knowledge with a little bit of luck can go a long way
@kylerodd23423 ай бұрын
To add to this, I also use the data hub to figure out who to play. Attributes and star ratings are good and all but sometimes a player just has an amazing season out of nowhere and if you pay attention to the numbers you can identify who is actually performing well. Sometimes I’m playing 2 star players because they’re doing exactly what I need.

I like to rotate each game so starters always play 2/3s of the games. It alows me to use some players more than they would be and increases relationships on the pitch. I bought Jobe Bellingham for 12 mil, because he developped pretty decently and on paper he was better than the guy I scammed off to Everton for 35 mil. But he's a peripheral figure in the squad and in the match engine he's lazy AF, is constantly OOP with 16 off the ball and is offside 90% of the time a teammate tries to assist him. He scored 3 goals in 20 matches as the designated number 9 and 2 of those were penalties I gave him in an attempt to bolster his confidence.

Hi, watching your videos since i can remember. Playing the game since FM18 or 19 and ive learned most of the basics from you. After getting way more into training and all, ive tried going with double intensity when fully fit and instead spare my players either positional or individual training, which i find to have significantly lowered my injuries, which i was fighting against all the time before. Basically until 23-24 i only do individual training (either make them well rounded or build upon their strength already) and positional for the older players. I find to get significantly better results at development as well (i have some nice schedules tho). I dont think having only one of the trainings make the intensity too low considering they double it when fit and just take it a bit easier when recovering between matches. You might want to try that as well, would be curious to see what your opinion is on that. Im currently on a own-youth-only safe with plymouth argile (never buying, only renewing contracts of players that are already there when i cant fill the gaps yet), and we finished just below playoff spots in 2nd and 3rd year, even though we should be a relegation team. I already have developed 3 players into my starting 11, with 2 considered superb championship players. 442 low block only as well.

He already does that etc. The additional training and team weekly training (where players sit for specific group training) that you can see players in the goalkeeper group training, defenders group training, and attacking group training is what's needed for established players to flourish?
