My husband and I felt nudged by the Holy Spirit to stop drinking wine and beer which we did on occasion. It has now been three months and immediately it has been a blessing. My grown daughter now is stopping and just knowing we were a positive example to her is priceless. Others who you don't even realize take notice, will do so! Prayers please that we stay on the path!!!🙏💕

I no longer use TikTok. I used to make POVS on there, which were fun, but the POVS were coping mechanisms. Instead of taking my needs to Christ, I posted POVS based on my life. Also, I eventually started mindless scrolling on TikTok at night, which led me to lose sleep.

In my Christian walk, I nolonger watch movies or follow TV series just because a lot of these movies and series teach me nothing and have a way of leaving me feeling like I'm straying from God. Instead, I choose to watch shows that teach me useful skills such as cooking, decorating, gardening, and such. Good riddance to movies!

I relate to this also, and the Holy Spirit often tells me to take the highroad .. so humbling. Sometimes I get to see the results of why God wanted me to keep my mouth shut and other times I don’t but either way I trust his voice and the more I listen to it the more recognizable it becomes ❤

My daughter is a pre-med student. I wasn't convicted until she came home one day and said, "mom, did you know alcohol is actually linked to cancer?" Directly linked. Like cigarettes. Not many things are shown to be scientifically directly linked to cancer, but, many are indirectly linked, so this surprised me. I've always taught my kids to not trust "those in positions of lawmaking" to look after your best interests. Just because something is legal doesn't mean its actually safe or good. Usually, money is the idol behind it. I have always been just a one-glass-of-wine with dinner gal. But, now, its zero. But, I do think its a personal decision between an individual and God. When your kids become teens & young adults, that makes a difference. More is caught than taught, right? ♥️🇨🇦

Hello Anna, I'd like to share that I also struggled with cursing, though I only cursed once in a Blue Moon particularly when I was really upset and I'm doing my best not to do it too. But, when I was younger, high school, maybe, I struggled with, "Oh my, God!" I've been so used to using that phrase as an expression and I felt convicted years ago. Now, it's been years, and I've replaced it with, "Oh, my word" or "Oh, my goodness." I feel that this is better than using the Lord's name in vain. Thank you for this video, Anna. Sending love from the Philippines. ❤

*I'm very happy for someone who finally mentions not saying GOD's name in vain, I hear so many Christians say it and it's like... it's a very important aspect to work on for all of us 😊 *And I agree with self-help books, most are written by men for men, completely leaving GOD aside and alluding to the fact that as humans we can solve everything alone, which is not true *And yes, yoga is something serious, because it is not only a physical practice but also a spiritual one, yoga includes many mantras that were made especially for their deities, so it is not something silly, it is like a sexual relationship, it encompasses more than the body, also the spirit. Thank you for this beautiful video from which I was able to learn many things, I am just a young girl of 19, but one day I hope to be able to get married and start a family, so it is good to learn from you, to start today to be a better Christian with those advice you give 😊 many blessings

Hi Anna! I’m Anna too! :) I recently found you, and just wanted to express how encouraging it feels to see another younger woman coming out of the world and living unashamedly for Christ. I was drastically born again a little over a year ago, and we have very similar backgrounds. He took me out of some very dark things. He also graciously saved my boyfriend through my conversion & we got married last June. I’m now learning all the things on how to be a godly wife, a homemaker, and just being a Christian woman. It’s been so hard for me and my husband to find another couple around our age (21 & 22) truly living for Christ & having the same convictions as us! So with you on all of this. We are to be Holy as He is Holy. We aren’t perfect, but the Lord knocked so many things out of my life & it’s a lonely road, but as Paul says “I count all things as loss so that I may gain Christ.” He is so worthy of it all. If you would be open, would love to connect with you more sometime :)

The reason we are not to practice spiritual works outside of God such as tarot cards, mediums, manifesting, yoga, etc is because Satan and his demons can use that to manipulate us spiritually and deceive us. I had the crazy thing happened to me yesterday. I went through my cds and dvds. I had the Fifty Shades trilogy. I said had because while I was trying to watch and remember why I had them right in the middle God said NO. The disk stopped working. Just stopped. There was nothing wrong with the dcd player. I out in Little House On The Prairie, the player worked perfectly. So, I threw away the Grey dvds abd books. I have been trying reduce and stop swearing myself. I grew up in a home with my mom could out cuss any Marine. My dad didn't swear much. That was mom's job, and she was good at it. Changing musical taste. I feel like you and I are on a similar journey with music. I have been evaluating why I listen to the music I listen to. I grew up with Hair Metal of the late 1970s and 1980s. I recently came across classical music from the Victorian Era. I am really enjoy it.

Great video. I really like the idea of what to say about gossiping I haven’t had a sip of alcohol or wine in a few years. I had already felt a nudge from the Holy Spirit to stop and then one year on my birthday my husband took me to a restaurant and we had a drink together. When we sat in the car after dinner we both felt a heavy weight of conviction at the same time ! The Holy Spirit spoke to us at the same time and we vowed to stop drinking alcohol from that day.

I agree with all of your points and I found myself nodding my head and even saying “yes girl”! 😂 Thank you again for another great video! I have been a believer for many years and I’m still such a work in progress, so for me it’s definitely a mouth issue. It’s so important because we know that what we say really shows what’s in our hearts. In my younger days I was a wild one and after I asked Christ to be the Lord of my life little by little he changed my desires. I used to smoke and drink but I lost all desire for that many years ago. That’s what is so wonderful about Him, just come as you are to the throne and he will help you with the rest.

I've been trying to listen and make sure the Holy spirit is speaking to me and not my inner voice being paranoid about everything and completely saying it's God demanding these extreme things. Like when it comes to drinking alcohol, God created it, Jesus made it for a wedding, he drank it and used it for The last supper. If Jesus had the occasional drink of alcohol I think it'd be ok, plus he says don't get drunk so for us to have self control is the main thing. Smoking obviously no for me, im slowly changing my wardrobe, trying very hard to watch my mouth, reading the bible (audio) daily and try to learn as much as I can to do things God wants a Christian woman to do and show the spirit fruits; I wanna be able to say I'm Christian and have people say "I can tell" at my hobby/career hopefully one day :)

Hi Anna! Thank you for this video. About meditation, I believe it has been proven that it brings some benefits on mental and physical well-being. But I think that it concerns short sessions of meditation, where you focus on your breathing and not try to "project your consciousness" anywhere, like New age practises. And about gossiping, I was asking myself : do you think it concerns any negative conversation you can have about some people, or just ill-intentioned words, with mockery and judgments ? Because, I often talk about some people in a negative way, but without any intention of harming them, simply to confide in what annoys me and what I have difficulty understanding in their behavior. Sometimes I feel guilty and wonder if it's a bad habit. But at the same time, I think we all need to get it off our chest, sometimes.

Thank you for sharing all these important things. 🧡 It is so beautiful to experience how the Holy Spirit leads us and shows what we can do to glorify God. I reduced hours at work a few weeks ago in order to be even more there for my children and my husband. I just work for 10 Hours a week at a little school as a socialworker. And the rest of the time I am a happy homemaker, mother and wife and a daughter of Christ ☺️🤍That was the best decision I have made which was guided by the holy spirit. @@AnnaDysett Not quite, just making the point that this is social media. Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Minds, KZbin, Meta, all of it is social media. Also I don't think most people are on it due to reasons of vanity. Many actually feel trapped and forced onto it. Even now, you make these videos to inform others of your convictions about social media, but to do so you use social media. It is commendable to take steps forward though and change. But at the same time I won't hold it against anybody if they're literally stuck.

My husband and I have a glass of wine every now and then. We only have a glass if it's a special date. It's rare though and we don't crave it or use it to numb ourselves. There are health benefits to having a little wine now and then. Paul in the Bible even told Timothy to take a little wine for his stomach. So we see nothing wrong with a glass now and then. We don't crave it and don't even remember to buy it, so it's just a rare treat for us.

Hi, Anna! I love your high of the week! May God bless your son and may He live in his heart for ever!🥰🙏 My high and at the same time low of the week, was that my hubby had a kidney transplant 3 months ago and he is currently doing a plasma treatment at the hospital, so that the disease that atacked his kidneys, doesn't do the same with this one. Thank God, the values that were supposed to be lowering, are lowering, but the "low" of the week was hearing the doctor say that he will have to keep on doing the treatments, wich is something my husband detests to do, because this treatment is done in the same room as the dialisys and it brings him many bad memories...🥺😓So, prayers are welcome. I agree with all the things you say you don't do as a christian woman and when you said how you felt about secular music, I can totally identify with you, because I feel the same. It reminds me of Romans 7:14-25. About drinking wine, as a christian I don't believe there is nothing wrong with that, but if you feel that it makes you want to drink more, maybe you shouldn't drink, even if it is only a glass. The devil knows our weaknesses and he works day and night, right? Jesus drank wine, Paul said that the women shouldn't drink much wine (not that they shouldn't drink at all), but if it's something you struggle with, just ask God what He wants you to do. And of course I will pray for you!😊 And if you can pray for me, for God to give me wisdom so that I don't talk too much sometimes, I appreciate it!😁 Have a blessed weekend!❤

This is the first video of yours I have watched. This is really interesting. I have grown a lot in my faith in the last few years. Your words about secular music is interesting. I recently decided to stop listening to Taylor Swift. Even though I love her older stuff, I realized that listening to that softened my heart toward listening to her new stuff. I also think some of her older stuff kind of led me to be boy crazy which eventually led to an idolization of marriage. I did pray that this idol be removed from my life, and it did not go smoothly even though I expected it to. The knitty gritty is too personal to share in a youtube comments section with thousands of strangers, but I guess just pray for healing but also praise the lord that this idol (even though the thing admired was good) has been removed from my life.

Advertising Christianity has become a red flag in the dating world. It’s unfortunate but true. Especially, if the man or woman is on a newfound journey. This is generally code for engaging in damaging behavior before restoring their relationship with religion. If you are on the dating market, avoid advertising this. This is not signaling that you will be a good wife or husband. Rather, it signals that you come with a lot of baggage.

And all the following verses, the things I used to say I don't say them anymore.. the places I used to go I don't go there anymore.. ❤ What a blessing it has been to find your channel. Please pray for me as I do struggle with cursing 🫣
