I agree with everything you said. Prayer has definitely helped me with submission lol I have a small testimony 😅 one day my husband hurt my feelings ( I don’t even remember what he said) but the fleshly me wanted to argue but I held my tongue and I prayed a quick prayer “ Lord, please handle him because I want to say something.” My husband went into the prayer closet and came out about an hour later and said that God rebuked him and told him to apologize to his wife. So he hugged me and loved me and I was never so in shock 😂😂😂 God had my back on this one lol

@@ronniecortex4936 All issues are important to God. He mentions it in Luke 12:7, where He tells us that God even knows the number of every hair on your head, to not be afraid. Also in Phillipians 4:5, the apostle Paul tells us to not be anxious, but instead in everything through prayer and and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. He is our Father, and we are His children. He cares about all of the 'little' things, just as we do our own children. God bless.

As my kids have gotten older and now becoming teenagers, I feel more and more appreciative of having a strong husband and father figure to hold the line on disciplinary issues, especially with our boys. I wish I hadn’t undermined his efforts so much to discipline them when they were younger. I now see it is a necessary part of parenting, even when they are young, to set the expectations early on. And I find men to generally have an easier time with it because they don’t get so caught up in empathizing and emotions, the way us women do. :)

I had the same spiritual attacks this year !! I even met with my pastor about it!!! What helped me is a made a notes on my phone about Bible verses about not being afraid and God being with me etc. and every night when that happened and I was afraid I would pray and speak these verses out loud!! And then I wrote it on note cards and put next to my bed. I did it for a few weeks, and then one night I know I felt the Holy Spirit and just told to keep praying and don’t stop and my whole body felt warm and tingling, then I felt peace! And it hasn’t happened again since then!! I would love to share the verses for you if you want

@@AnnaDysett I experienced it a couple months ago the first morning something was holding me down and I couldn’t get it off I screamed Jesus multiple times till it left. The next morning I felt someone lying beside me so I thought it was one of our kids I tried to turn to see but I couldn’t because I felt the spirit holding my head down so I screamed Jesus till it let go. This time I prayed and told the spirit to leave my room and never come back. Then I watched videos and I learned to cover my bed, my room and every space in our house with the blood of Jesus before I sleep. I also anointed our bed and room with oil. There is power in prayer and in the blood of Jesus declare it over yourself Luke 10:19 is a great verse Jesus gave us authority over snakes and scorpions and all evil spirits so sleep paralysis has no place. Remind that spirit each time it comes you have authority

My parents were married 32 years, and my mom wasn't one to submit. What I saw of marriage growing up was enough to send anyone running the opposite direction. At 52, I raised my daughter, and now I look forward to God bringing my husband to me for us to come together. Raising children isn't for cowards. I agree with you and your husband about spanking. My daughter was eight when I caught her playing with fire. God gave me a brilliant idea: TAKE HER TO A FIREHOUSE. Yeah! I took her to see a fire fighter. She's 21 and still is reluctant to touch fire. The second method of discipline I used was my crazy music. I grew up listening to the androgynous music of the 1980s. KISS, Motley Crue, Ratt, and so on. She hates that music now. I found the threat of mommy's crazy music to be more effective for behavior correction than time out. She knew if she did something I had told her not to, it was mommy's music. I have always received compliments on how well behaved She was in school. Now you know why. Oh, by the way, please pray for me as I am pushing that music out of my life. It's not going to be easy, but it must happen. It had its purpose, and now I am over it. I hope.

To anyone suffering from sleep paralysis, don't sleep on your back. That helps me so much. I feel it has to do with my oxygen levels sinking. I had a lot of terrible paralysis but it stopped when I started sleep on my side. I don't invalue your experience of it being a spiritual attack though. It is interesting that it happened a lot when I came to Christ as a teenager and also when I slept to christian music. One time I woke up to a psalm sounding like a demon roaring. Still terrifies me to this day. So please consider this advice, as a protective measure that doesn't leave you vulnerable. May God bless you.
@AnnaDysett
@AnnaDysett 3 ай бұрын
Oh my! Yes, I agree the back sleeping can be an issue. I have had it on my side, but typically on my back. I have had an experience with a demonic roaring voice like that too! I was trying to scream Jesus when I was younger and the demon was mimicking me screaming Jesus and laughing at the same time. I still remember it so vividly so I know exactly what you are referring to and how it is traumatizing in a way. It was hard for me because I remember everyone saying the name of Jesus would have them running.. but that’s not always the case. Some of them don’t bat an eyelash.

Thank you for this lovely video! My husband is definitely a "true and faithful servant" for getting up at four a.m. every morning and working hard all day. One thing I do for him is that I pray for him while he is at work, sometimes in the car while running errands, etc. There are days this has made a huge difference for him and there have even been small miracles! Sometimes he comes home and says, " you must have been praying for me today, thank you!" It really warms my heart when he says that!🙂

I love to hear that we view and practice submission very similar! I feel that women who have difficulty with submission do not see their husbands as worthy of their respect. I agree that submitting with discipline can be difficult. One other practical way I practice submission is cooking for our family based on his preferences and dietary needs!

You can't be more clever than God. He tells us very clearly that we are to use physical discipline when needed. Trust me...God uses physical discipline on all of us (His own blood bought Children). Do you know the physical curse God gave to Eve for eating the forbidden fruit? Was that not physical discipline? Of course it was. Do you think for one second that Adam and Eve didn't know that God was chastising them from a place of anger? And we CAN'T be better parents than God! God gets angry with His children sometimes. So disciplining our children from a place of anger is following God's lead. BUT...God uses controlled anger and we should also. I used physical discipline often (and trust me...they knew I was angry...not at them...but at what they had done) on my two oldest sons and they both graduated from West Point and are Captains in the Army. They are leaders who actively serve God. But I would ALWAYS let it go as soon as the discipline was over and we moved on. I never let them feel like I held something against them. Liberals talk like they have superior ways to raise children than what God's good old book tells us...but we Christians should never take that position. God's ways are always right and good. There are no superior (more clever) teachings on raising kids than what God's word teaches.

Here's an amusing example of a time when I was clouded by my emotions whereas my husband was the more logical one: 30 years ago I was pregnant with our son. We both agreed that we wouldn't get an ultrasound to find out the gender of our baby; we wanted to be surprised. So, I was convinced that we were having a girl we didn't have alot of money, so I bought a lot of very beautiful dresses at Thrift stores. Then, at Christmas time, a department store had a baby dress for $100, and a baby girl fur coat and hat for $250. I wanted to buy them for our baby but my husband said no. I asked if didn't he think our daughter was worth it? He said that I could continue to buy Thrift store Dresses but not expensive department store dresses because, as he put ut: what if we have a boy? So, I did what he said and, wouldn't you know it, we had a boy😅. I am SO glad I didn't buy the $100 dresses 😂. I ended up giving away the Thrift store dresses

You have nothing against spanking per se? Nothing wrong with hurting these little bodies which were made by God? It's an awful sin to hurt anybody, especially a helpless child which you were supposed to protect.
@AnnaDysett
@AnnaDysett 3 ай бұрын
One could easily argue that they are protecting their child by teaching them the value of authority. It also teaches consequences which is what God teaches us. Obviously, just because a parent spanks their child doesn’t mean they are hurting them. If we cannot respect our parents who we can physically see, how are we even remotely supposed to respect God? We don’t spank.. but I understand both sides and won’t put down a parent who does and tell them they are in the wrong.

You know what the blessing sleep paralyses has done for me? Even though i dont wish sleep paralyses to anyone ever. Its really creepy and it frankly annoys me. But it has been a blessing in the sense that nothing and nobody can tell me that God and the Devil do not exist. And if they do that doesnt change the fact that God is Real and so is the devil. We have seen the enemy in his anger lash at us with these sleep paralysis and its an awesome thing to be able to have supernatural confirmation that we are doing what is right before God. And we also have seen the goodness of God and His Might by the power of His Word and Name. Praise be to Him!! Ive had sleep paralysis for almost childhood. My dad was a pastor, and the devil sure likes to hit for home. But i praise God i had a dad fearful of God and showed me the way. And what to do when i get those attacks. Those annoying attacks. Sometimes he appears to my kid, and I remember what my dad would do, Pray and annoint our home and foreheads with oil and prayer, and mark our homes with Gods Name by our voices. And the devil does leave. Amen. I don’t believe its because we are in sin we experience these things, but sometimes it can happen when we are sensible in our spiritual walk. Its a spiritual walk. God is spirit and so is our enemy. So we are bound to see him in the spiritual realms. Something we are unable to experience these supernatural things when we walk only by sight and flesh, and not by spirit and faith. But we need not to fear for our Lord Jesus Christ has overcame them!!! And we are more than victorious through God Our Lord Jesus Christ❤️ You are not alone Sister ❤️

Hi. I dealt with sleep paralysis prior to coming to Christ, and then two additional episodes. They didn't last as long and I just started rebuking it in the name of Yeshua and that I belonged to Him and asked the Holy Spirit to protect me. In each case they ended quickly. You mentioned Ephesians 6. Remember, further in the passage He tells us how to fight those spiritual battles. So put on the Armour of God, and they will go away once they realize it's a fruitless effort for them. God bless you and yours. Your brother in Christ.

I like your videos and I appreciate your perspective. I have seasons where I submit and seasons when I don't because my husband makes poor financial decisions. But I still love and appreciate him and try my best to see his authority. Personally we spank as a warning for life in the world. We leave anger out of it for we dont believe it to be a justification. But to mirror how in society if You break laws or hurt somewhere there will be memorable consequences like how spankings are memorable we believe is justified. Some young children forget explanations and verbal warnings quickly like our two youngest. Spankings have been the only thing that helps them remember the rules. But it's not beneficial for all children. Thanks for sharing 😊

Thank you for putting this video together. In since I have been washed in the spirit I am amazed at the amount of people, male and female, that do not know the true meaning of being/having a submissive wife and what it truly means. I know it is because they don’t read the Bible as a daily habit thus not reading the many places that explains what being a submissive wife means for both the wife and husband. God does not want a dishrag for a wife but an intelligent woman who will discuss with her husband and a husband who will listen to his wife in order that he may go to God and come to the correct conclusion in all matters. Anna, you are a kind, gentle, intelligent person and you explain very well. 🙏🏼❤

Anna, my name is Jacqie. I have really enjoyed watching your videos. I have had many demonic attacks in different forms. People call it sleep paralysis but they are not in our dreams or minds. These are real demon attacks in the room as a person is sleeping. Our God and Savior gave us authority. Pray Psalm 91. Trust and believe it, and if, "if" an attack should come while you're sleeping, speak scripture in your mind. It is important to mention we can sin in our thoughts, so make sure you haven't sinned in thought or action. Thoughts come and go but if we dwell on sinful thoughts then we are allowing it to build a nest. That's why we are to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus.

I doubt that the Bible was truly divinely inspired, mostly due to the confusion in the church (God is not the author of confusion). However, I do believe that the early Christians and Jews were more interested in righteous living than virtually anyone else who has ever lived, so I am still very interested in what they have to say. Paul says that wives are to submit to their husbands, but Jesus says to love your neighbor as yourself. Loving your neighbor as yourself would seem to mean that any social arrangement should be beneficial for everyone involved. So, in order for Christian teachings to be consistent, it cannot be the case that wives submitting to their husbands is purely for the husband's benefit. I think wives submit to their husbands because it's the husband's job to take care of her, and it's hard to take care of someone who won't do anything that you say. It seems to me that men are better suited to dealing with material problems than women. This is due to the fact that men are bigger and stronger (so are more easily able to physically manipulate the physical environment), they are more logical, and more interested in material things. It seems to me that if there is a dearth of feminine influence, then life might be a bit boring/stale, but a lack of masculine influence means that there will not be food to eat or a roof over your head. I also think that men are in general more interested in righteous living than women (how many women do you know who are philosophers?), so that a man is usually better suited to be a role model for an ideal than a woman. I also think that at the base instinctual level, men desire women for sex, and women desire men for their power. The man wants to own and use the woman as his sex toy and brood mare, and the woman wants to use the man as an ATM, body guard, emotional tampon, etc. The natural relations between the sexes are that men try to deceive women in order to get as much uncommitted sex as possible, and women deceive men in order to try to extract as many resources from them as possible. Romantic love is inherently selfish and uses the other person as an object. I think marriage is the only way to make romantic love into something good, because it means that you voluntarily offer your whole self in exchange for using the other person. I think a happy marriage is two selfish people who willingly offer the other what he/she can't help but selfishly desire. This means that the woman submits to the husband (especially with regards to sex), and the husband makes material sacrifices (time, money, health, energy), that the wife can't and won't reciprocate in-kind. I think there are several reasons that modern people don't like submission. One is that due to the welfare state, women don't actually need individual men anymore. They have the state as a surrogate husband. At the base instinctual level, women use men for power, so, when they are doing fine on their own, they don't bother trying to please men. Feminist propaganda also teaches women to hate and despise men. Also, society is less religious than it used to be. This means that most people are hedonists. If a wife submits to a Christian man, then she is submitting to a man who is submitting himself to a higher ideal. That means she is using her husband as a role model that points towards something higher than her own husband. However, if the husband is a hedonist, then the wife's submission means that she is a sex toy and a cook and a maid and nothing more. Feminists imagine that this is what submission means, because they have no concept of a higher purpose, so that serving another person for them can only mean serving his arbitrary whims. I have been thinking about what I will tell my daughter about marriage when she is old enough to understand. I think a good rule is, "Look at your husband. When you see that he is working to take care of the family, then let him be the leader. This sometimes means that you will let him have his way even when you disagree. This is good for you, because it makes sense to try to please the one who provides for you." I think this is a good rule, because it appeals to a woman's selfish nature, rather than just making a humiliating declaration that sounds arbitrary. Also, this rule would not cause abuse, because she is only supposed to submit to her husband when he is working to take care of her. It is also simple, so it would not bore a child too much who was not interested in philosophy. As a husband, I have a rule for myself that I won't ask my wife to do anything unless I am already doing everything that I know how to do. And I consider her needs to be at least as important as mine, so that I will always do something good for her when think of it. I do think, however, that when it seems to me that I know better than my wife, that it is not only a right, but a duty to tell her what to do. She is a naturally loving and humble woman, so if I'm able to simply explain the benefit of doing something that she knows little about, there is usually no argument. I've never been able to get her to overtly submit to me though, which makes me sad. It makes me sad, because I see her submission and my duty to take care of her as the same thing, so I feel like we'd be closer if she did that. She is very stubborn and practical, so she will spontaneously do things like cook dinner every day and do the laundry without me even asking, but talking to her about abstract principles doesn't accomplish anything. If she can't see the direct connection to something that she can see or touch, then she's not interested, and it's nigh impossible to convince her. But I can only control myself, so I focus on what I should do, and let her focus on what she should do. edit: seeing if my comment is still here

I honestly loved every second of reading your thoughts. Thank you so much for sharing!! I encourage you to ask God for yourself if the Bible is divinely inspired or not though.🤷‍♀️ Ask him to prove it. What harm can it do? I think Paul would totally agree with you on the marriage thing. It’s more hassle than it’s worth. He was celibate and wished everyone else was too! But in 1 Corinthians 7:9 he said - 9 But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

How you create your content and manage it without getting overwhelmed or overtaken by the worldliness of the platforms I feel a desire to share things I have learned from the Lord in my years of being a wife and mother but I feel so intimidated by how easily these platforms can get someone off track
@AnnaDysett

I know exactly what you mean! My suggestion is to pray about it - a lot. I felt the Lord call me to do this, and I prayed for a good while to make sure it was Him. I really didn’t want to come back to any form of social media after quitting many years ago, and the thought of sharing my testimony or being in the public eye made me cringe. But I spent so much time working for Satan on social media, I knew it was time to work for my Father. So pray a lot and ask yourself what your intentions are. Do you want to spread the gospel or do you want to be acknowledged/praised? Would your KZbin be ran by your love for God or by your pride? It’s really all about your heart.. but certainly don’t disobey God if you feel He is calling you. In this world, we need more Christian influencers!

Regarding sleep paralysis, if you know someone who does deliverance I would recommend seeking deliverance from what is tormenting you, it could be generational or an open dorr somewhere. I have a deliverance ministry so thats why I know it would be good for you to consider, I have not had sleep paralysis but God taught me about it in a dream - pray about God to lead you to a deliverance minister its amazing the freedom that will come from it. ❤

thats an interesting view on authority in the home. Yes the husband is the head, the leader and he has many atributes but if you look to that picture that circles the internet about authority in the family, and you read the bible you surely will realise that we are to run the house as we see fit and educate the children. God gave us the authority to teach in the family. Yes we are to obey and respect the leader who's leading the home but we are also to manage and run the home. Remember proverbs 31? shalom!

@@Lizzy_And_pompom "these types of relationships are often abusive and neglectful" And you're basing that claim on what, exactly? Because I and many of my family members and friends have been in long-term marriages founded on these same principles and none of us have been abused or turned abusive. Meanwhile, we hear that lesbian relationships (in which there are *no* men) tend to have higher rates of abuse than any other... "and that you are valuable but not because you should submit to your man." Nobody believes that their value comes specifically from submitting to a man, but it is part of the role that some women have chosen toward a specific goal (usually building and maintaining a stable family). Just like I'm not saying my sole value comes from how much money I can make to buy things for my wife, but it is a part of the role I've chosen toward that same goal.
