Things I Don't Like About Fortnite Chapter 5! (Fortnite Battle Royale)

Chapter 5 has been a mixed bag for me. Some of the things they've add have been amazing while others have been either questionable & or horrible. I didn't make this video to trash on Chapter 5 but more or less as criticism against it because I want this game to in the best state as it possibly can! Hopefully Chapter 5 gets better from here as I do hope for it to be an amazing chapter!

I'm happy that I was able to get the cosmetics that I wanted, but I 100% agree with you on the item shops. They're terrible for the most part. Fortnite Festival needs its own Festival Shop, because as you said, the Jam Tracks & Instruments take up a lot of the item shop. They also need to bring back cosmetics that hasn't been in the item shop for months & years. Especially Naruto Shippuden & Street Fighter. Not to mention the other tabs. Like DC, Turn Up The Music, & Daily. And finally, they really need to bring back the bundles. Jack Skellington came back, along with his pickaxe & glider, but not his emote & bundle. Hell, my younger cousin gifted me Belle Berry, yet her pickaxe & wrap never came back in the item shop. I pray that the Item Shop gets reworked & have separate shops for the other three modes.

I tried to stay positive towards Chapter 5 and give it a chance but the Issues have been way more Negative and I think it really hurts the game for me. Honestly I really didn't like the Last Season & It felt like a Chore to play BR (way too repetitive & feeling dull) Sure Everybody was hating on the Collabs but the Movement is a drastic change while fighting and getting out of the Storm was just not easy to deal with. Winterfest was Boring & Lackluster and Item Shops are just nothing new besides Cars, Icon Emotes, Instruments, JAM Tracks & now Lego Kits is where I draw the line. Why would anyone pay so much money for Virtual Legos? Just No 😕 Players are frustrated seeing the Same Skins & Items EveryDay, It's honestly tiring. I do hope with Season 2 things will get better and Epic Games would listen how the community feels, I just want the game to be better and fix these Issues

I tottaly agree! I wish fortnite listended and put all the other cosmetics such as cars,lego and festival in a diffreint shop.

My largest gripes with chapter 5 so far was the overall changes to battle royale with the movement and the bullet drop off which is just aweful. If I wanted realism in my shooter I'd go play Call of duty. This is the wacky gun game where you can disguise as a bush and hide in the sky using balloons. As for the shop. God it's awful. They brought back almost all the DC skins before yet never brought back Starfire when there is nothing like The Rock and the Black Adam nonsense stopping that. The bundles being pretty much gutted. I want to get the rest of "The Order" and her set not just her skin. Also the lego kits, music stuff, and car stuff just overfilling the shop making it feel like they are taking spots of good stuff that should be there instead like the Street Fighter items, Naruto items, JJK items, etc. Also them making snipers less annoying this season has been a god send. It was awful last season where the final fight was always a snipe battle. Made worse by the medallions making people so campy and boring to fight against. The Pois could be better though. Hades and Cereberus are too close imo and same for Zeus and Ares. Also them being at the very edges of the map kinda sucks since the storm can just pull heavy one direction or the other making it a pain to get back into the circle. Unless you wanna give your position away with the terrible wings. Also the Zeus lightning feels so weak because the drawback is so heavy to using it, especially in game modes that are Duos or more. As for Floor is lava. As someone who prefers Zero-build.... I hate it. Also the fact it's squads only sucks, except for the tournament coming on the 24th.... which means it could have been solos all along. I'd have preferred a version without the guns tbh. Make it more strategic then pathetic like it is right now in my opinion.

One thing I would like to add about the item shop is that if there is a bundle for a certain set, you are not guaranteed to buy the cosmetic separately.(Ex: pickaxe, wrap, etc). This has never been an issue before and I don’t know why epic can just at least put interesting cosmetics in the shop for once since I’ve never seen shops this boring now.

season 1 was fun at certain times. i liked fighting the bosses because it was easier. this season made mod benches harder to get to and bosses harder to fight

@@official_happy_foxy1824 it feels like a major downgrade from last season. the old pois are empty and the new bosses are too hard to fight since everyone just waits for someone else to trigger it. i also hate how mod benches are a lot harder to find since you have to wait for a bunker to open

Things I don’t like about chapter 5: all of it. Things I didn’t like about Fortnite og: nothing it was perfect why get rid of it! Even as a separate mode it would be better. I feel like og was the last season that had that Fortnite charm.

Here’s a question that im asking not for a answer but your opinion. Recently silk sonic (Bruno mars) skins got Lego styles! But no shop tab. And considering Bruno mars just got into some hot water with casinos and gambling you think they’ll update his tab and sell him?

I'd imagine that he'd still be releasing into the shop. That'd suck because he's a phenomenal skin in my opinion and is one of my favorites in the game. That'd suck if they'd never bring him back because of this whole situation.
