Things I Hate About the Doll Collector Community| Doll Community Rant Chit Chat Part 1

I was in some Novi Stars groups on Facebook because I hoped to get some. But oh dear. It became depressing seeing people willing to pay 500$ for a doll that was considered to expensive at around 20 or 30. And it was also creepy how my mind shifted with time, thinking that 150$ is a very nice offer got into a real psycho drama with a seller. I think it was a scam but this is a long story but it began with me cancelling because I made up my mind and wanted my 50$ deposit back or at least a part. I hate Novi Stars now, for me they just stand for everything I dislike in the doll community lol

Poor Novis! Nobody bought them when they were on shelves. They ended up in discounted shops in the UK when they finally became discontinued and now... people in the doll community decided they were trendy and great and are willing to spend ridiculous amount of money on them. How sad in a way for a cool doll line that deserved better.

What's the most you've ever spent on a doll?

I bought the Chucky and Tiffany Skullector dolls for like $90, but for a single doll I think the most I've spent is maybe $30/$40 dollars.

@@BratzUniverse some of the dolls had bad glue seepage inside their heads/hair, so I used Goo Be Gone to dissolve it before washing. 😊

@ oh okay! I’m definitely gonna get some cause some of my older bratz got glue seepage (didn’t know that was the word for it😂) couldn’t get rid of them easily. Learning new things everyday lol

I got a target barbie and some plastic chick with duck lips from palm beach commented it shows people like her i wish would go broke

it's also because they make you feel bad for liking it cause they are 'targeted to kids' so you buying dolls or even action figures some people think you have mental issues. and some collectors are nasty look at gen 3 Monster High people wanted body diversities and yet all i see is hate like i don't get it also no hate but your mic is low i had to turn my volume way up to actually hear you

You really like to look into other people's wallets for some reason. Their money their choice, they can spend it however they want. Also, a hypocrite, cause person was asking for an opinion, and you suddenly turned it into "need to justify". You are the weird one in this situation. Be better (as you like to say) about your video themes.

You seem really upset about my Opinions on my video. Having an opinion on something does not make me a hypocrite. People are allowed to spend their money how they want as I said and if you actually listened to what I said you would realize that the person was falling for a SCAM. Excuse me for being concerned for someone losing to a scammer. You must be one of them praying on doll collectors. Here’s a word of advice for the future, you can keep scrolling if you don’t like someone’s content but thank you for the views and engagement. Have a great day 🥰

​@@sinfuldollz The thing is, it kind of came across like you were scolding them for asking advice from their fellow doll collectors, or for wanting dolls in the first place. They were unsure about the listing, asked fellow doll collectors, and the fellow doll collectors told them it was a scam. It was GOOD that they asked someone before buying it.
