Never built any version fo the MK 2/MK II, but the box art of the RG and it's general aesthetic kind of makes me wanna check it out. I like how it's a chunkier, boxier and bulkier version of the original RX-78-2 Gundam. The colours help give it a more militaristic war machine-esque look. Sort of reminds me of the Ground Type Gundam or EZ-8 Gundam from 08th MS Team.

I think it would be logical to assume, considering the franchise is japanese in origin, and the model kit was manufactured and packaged in Japan, that the writing could most likely be said to be Japanese.

It's amazing how the joints in the arm move. That's detail

There’s probably over 100 points of movement in these kits they can pretty much pose in every way.

God bless you, I noticed a lot of Christian’s are into gunpla. I’ve even met a couple people at my church into gunpla

Suppose it's because model kit building involves working with our hands and mind and utilizing patience and care in order to create something beautiful. As you may well already know, the act and art of creation is considered a divine thing in Christianity. God created the universe which was undoubtedly considered a "divine act." Regardless, of one's belief, there is something inherently good in creating rather than destroying. It's a quality that should be nurtured and encouraged. God Bless You, fellow commenter.

I am by no means a pro but here are a few things I learned about gunpla when building a few of my own kits. First of all its all written in Japanese since they are all made in Japan and Gunpla means more specifically "Gundam Plastic Model" its a mix of Gundam and Plamo not Gundam and Plastic, Plamo is a word used in Japan for Plastic Models but that's not a big importance, what really matters is that you don't really need to translate anything on the instructions because the images and numbers should be all you really need to build it there are a few things they point out on the image to make you watch for orientation of the part because it can be hard to tell sometimes which way it goes on but generally just following the numbers will be enough. Second the reason parts are on different runners is generally because they are a different color and the reason they are spread out on the runner is because that just happened to be the most optimal way they could figure out to fit all the parts in the size of the runners. they will only make runners with multiple colors on them when there is not enough parts to make up a full one of that color such as the translucent green parts. Third when clipping them out its best to leave a little bit extra on the part at first then cut it closer with your knife after because your nippers can stress the plastic making it leave a small white mark and wiggling it off will do that even more and unless you plan to paint the model it will be annoying to look at your model covered in small white dots. Lastly I would recommend panel lining the kit near the end it will make the details really show up from more then a few feet away just use a very thin gray paint and gently touch it on the lines the paint should flow right into them and then wipe off the extra paint after, you don't have to use any specific paint for it i just used basic enamel hobby paint that i thinned out but even craft acrylic paint that has been thinned should work.

That looks really cool! Can't wait to see for of these that you do. I don't think I would have the patience, with those little pieces, to assemble one.
