I disagree with playing casual matches first and then going straight to diamond 4 or 5, at that point people are way to sweaty you don't have room to practice and learn, it is better to start at gold and then you learn your character better all the way to master, play for the fun of learning not just for having the "master" title which really does not mean anything.

@@RyuShinkuuHadoken I definitely understand your view point on that . For me grinding from gold to master really taught me a lot . But I tell you this since hitting master with Akuma I’ve picked up Luke and immediately jumped to Diamond 3 after following these steps. As they said the really test will be in master rank
