I bought my C1 last month, and have been loving your old content on it! Got some great ideas about interior mods from you - thank Christ it has air con and 5 doors though, I couldn't live without those. Ironically, the previous owner called my car Cindy too!

Always a great smile from Chloe. My C1 is great 50 mpg and just throw all my gardening gear in the back easy to put the rear seats down for more space.

Nice. I have a 2010 C1 in noddy red and its been an amazing car. Its gone through 4 mot’s without needing any major work and it is dirt cheap to run. I agree with you on the negative points especially the lack of power, on faster roads its like a puppy trying to pull you and just not having the strength to do so 😂 but around town its very nippy and alot of fun to drive.

I feel you for the no air con. My corsa (which was a 2016!) had non and I sweated in it for 4 years until the heatwave I could take no more and got a different car😂

I've just got a 2011 C1 for my stepdaughter. It's a mid spec one so it does have air conditioning and electric Windows, but it's still the same cheap plasticky interior common to the C1/107/Aygo. This one is a 5 door so it's a bit more practical. Yes it's noisy and a bit slow, but it's an economy city car, you can't have everything. It's a simple and cheap car to run and as a first car it makes a lot of sense.

oh 1000%%%! i think it makes the perfect first car and honestly caused me no issues! was cheap to run, practical, and was reliable, unlike the more expensive cars now😭😭🤣

I didnt think it would fit but collected 51" tv in it last week. It very nearly fitted accross the back seat. I had to drop the back seats and put passenger seat forwards a bit. But i was impressed. Ive had mine about 2 weeks.

I passed and bought a Peugot 107 a couple of months back, same car basically. Wanted a Yaris but settled on this (same as the Aygo basically). Wanted a high mpg, small car. It checked the boxes. Not the best car, as you say but it's okay for a couple of years.

I had a Aygo and a C1, very reliable car, people complain about interior plastics but i find the less it has less to go wrong and easy to clean. Comon faults with them cars is clutch indicator collom and boot seals goes all are cheap to fix great cheaper runaround after that i got a Fiat Punto lot more comfortable I am 6tf 5.

Well done on these videos Chloe. You sure will definitely make a fantastic car journalist.. Regarding the C1 we got to remember it was purely designed to be a very budget car.. cheap of the cheap. So for someone starting out it’s the perfect little car. And as you said you ready to be promoted to a better more comfortable and faster car. Peugeot/Citroen designed their cars for the most suitable consumers. So when u become a mom one day let’s say of three. The Peugeot 5008 would be a GREAT adoption… great family car with all the bells and whistles. As for your current stage something like the 308 would be perfect but comparing the 308 to its competitors the Ford fiestas, polos and even the mini would be an awesome choice. I personally don’t think much of the fiat 500 as that’s also a budget car. A golf would be great but your insurance companies will be wearing their devil face ready to rape your bank account is it’s considered a boy racer car… But my personal opinion the fiesta or even the 5 door corsa would probably be perfect for you and they both pretty nippy. Look forward to see what you will choose 😃
