For those who misunderstand - Tyler isn't engrossed in materialism. He's a true appreciator of design as art, form, craftsmanship, aesthetic. There's a book called 'The Beauty of Everyday Things' by Soetsu Yanagi, it's a pretty good representation of the kind of appreciation Tyler the Creator has for 'things'.
@cigance912 жыл бұрын
He's a consoooomer
@__-ni1kz2 жыл бұрын
Soetsu speaks of an appreciation of unremarkable utilitarian handcrafted goods, not designer goods with a century of marketing machine and consumerism behind them. Regardless, these designer goods are still artistically produced despite the capitalistic end goal of the product. Soetsu is great reading as well, good recommendation.

Watching Tyler made me realize you don’t have to live in the boundaries of what’s considered “black”. Do you to the fullest and be happy.
