I LOVE these types of videos. It feels like I’m just chatting with a friend about our interests. I’m also a Freida Stan and that docuseries was INSANE. Idk if you’ve seen shiny happy people. But highly recommend with religious trauma and abuse warnings. Thanks for the video, Carrie! ❤

I got inspired by your elastic waist jeans video because I hate wearing regular jeans when it's hot. I immediately found a pair at the thrift store and I've already been wearing them so much. Also, I just ordered boxer-esque shots and I'm so excited from them to arrive. I'm going to wear them all spring and summer long.

Keigo Higashino is my all time fav author! His mystery books are the perfect combo of "I need to know what happens next" while also being very much about the mystery and not too creepy or scary, for my high cortisol girlies!! The Devotion of Suspect X is so good! The series can be read out of order as well, the main connection between them is the detective.

Ooh since you are in your mystery era, there is a series of books I’m reading by Louise Penny. They are “chief inspector Gamache mystery” series. She is a Canada author and they take place in a teeeeeeeny village in Quebec (it’s all English), like small cottages, fire places, so cozy!!! But every book is a different murder mystery, but also weirdly wholesome. I suggest starting with book one (still life), because the character development throughout the books is incredible! And her story telling is unmatched! And they are easy reads, nothing too thinky. I’m obsessed! 🫶

Oh, I love Kinging It!!! They're adorable. I watch a lot of the vanlifers (Eamon and Bec, The Van Wives, Max and Occy, Wild We Roam, Leave Everything and Wander and, of course, the "travel for a living" couple, Kara and Nate) even though I know I'll never live in a van. It seems our KZbin and Book tastes are very similar. I've read every book you mentioned. I have a couple of recommendations for you ---- anything by Ruth Ware, Karin Slaughter or Kate White (she used to be the editor at "Cosmopolitan" and writes thrillers). I also love Kathy Reichs whose books the series "Bones" was based on. Her character, Temperance Brennan, is amazing. I'm also into "Nordic Noir" the last few years ... anything by Ragnar Jónasson, the author of the "Dark Iceland" series is so good as well as the "Dept. Q" series by Jussi Adler Olssen. And please, do yourself a favor and read the Tuva Moodyson Mystery series (starting with "Dark Pines") by Will Dean as well as his other books. It's unusual for a man to write books Here's a review: ""David Mark's British police procedurals are a wholesome corrective to cop novels starring prima donna detectives who single-handedly solve major murder cases. Sgt. Aector McAvoy, the "gentle, humble, shy giant of a man"... is clearly the hero of this brawny series set in the north of England... But Mark surrounds his Scottish detective with fellow officers who make vital contributions to the case and are interesting in their own right."--The New York Times Sunday Book Review"

I think you'd like Riley Sager's books! Final Girls is his most well known book but Lock Every Door and The House Across the Lake were my favorites. I read 5/7 of his books published under that pen name in like...under 2 months. They are very fun thrillers without being too dark and graphic. That Night by Cyn Balog is also a YA thriller that I read in a single day.

I really like the extention claps that you have for the necklaces but where did you get your actual necklaces from? Especially the short silver paperclip one, & the gold bubble gucci one. They are so cute! 📿 Btw, you recommended a podcast in one of your older vids awhile ago. The Teacher's Pet. & omgosh, it was incredible. I loved it so much that I ended up listening to the Teacher's Trial, which is a kind of part 2 to The Teacher's Pet, & Shandee's Story. They are all done by the same guy from The Australian, his name is Hedley Thomas. Definitely recommend, if you haven't heard those.

12:52 I laughed when your viewers equated your first and last glasses to famous individuals because the 2nd and 3rd ones are what I always called serial killer glasses.
