@@asipofinspo What an absolutely beautiful country I had the privilege to stay in 2015 on holidays. I've been in Prague and also České Budějovice. Can't wait to get there again.

This is such a charming city, I hope I can visit again sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

The Catholic University (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) is not considered a private university. It's a special case, created after a treaty between Portugal and the Holy See (i.e., the Pope). In Portugal, usually public universities are more prestigious than private universities, but Católica is bundled together with the public ones (and very prestigious, specially for some degrees), not with the private ones. For example, there is a council called "Council of Portuguese University Rectors" which, contrary to what the name might imply, does not include all universities of Portugal, only public universities - and Católica.

I see!! Thanks for clarifying that 😊 I definitely had a great time at Catolica.. The teachers were really welcoming and there for their students

Hey!! I guess you are the right person to ask this question now since you are from Czech Republic so which Country is better Portugal or Czech Republic for management studies? I am little confused between there two countries to apply for my master's program. I hope you answer, Thanks :)
@asipofinspo3 жыл бұрын
Hello, sorry for replying late!! Yes, I’m from Czech Republic :) I think it really depends on your preference. School is probably going to be much easier in Czech Republic (since the classes are designed for specifically for exchange students), in Portugal they may be harder (since they’re an alternative for Portuguese students).. I’d say nightlife is pretty good in both countries (although now during covid there probably isn’t any).. Portugal has lovely beaches, you can go surfing and stuff.. Prague is beautiful but there’s no ocean.. idk honestly, I think during covid Portugal (Porto) might be a better place because of the things you can do even though everything is closed.. Prague would be something to consider if you don’t want to study too much, enjoy nightlife and perhaps travel more (since school would be easier + also it has a convenient geographical location).. That’s my opinion :)

Sam I’m looking for this also for my daughter. Biology major in USA. Biotechnology or biochemistry. Which schools offer total program in English. It’s confusing. She may want to transfer there in 4 Th year. I think Nova science and technology school in Lisbon may be our best bet

Have you also heard or been to Coimbra? I really cant choose between an exchange in Prague or Coimbra... or maybe Budapest. What is the advice you would give?
@asipofinspo3 жыл бұрын
I have a friend from Coimbra but I’ve personally never been there! However, I heard the student life is very fun there. Prague and Budapest are much bigger cities compared to Coimbra.. I’d say it depends what kind of a city you like.. All of them are beautiful I’d say 😊
