Love these videos...I am actually the traditional art guy and as you said it really helps in digital medium as well. I keep suggesting to my class friends to start drawing, sketching atleast a little-bit. It may take a while to get there..but you will definitely notice some improvements in your workflow.

That’s really smart. I might start trying to focus on what you said.

So I'm confused, the sculpting I see in this video, is that high sub divs or these guys just always sculpt with dynamic sub divs on?
@AbeLeal3D18 күн бұрын
@@iceshade1336 this is just a dynamsh sketch I was working on during the stream, no proper topology yet just high level of dynamesh

@AbeLeal3D but it looks super smooth, confuses me a bit when I dynamesh it looks like garbage, even at 1k polys
@AbeLeal3D18 күн бұрын
@@iceshade1336 1k polys is nothing, i think this one was a t 250k polys or something like that, in zbrush it is normal to work with really big polycounts

@@AbeLeal3D ok I was mixed up, Im pretty new still. I meant the number next to dynamesh, I usually crank that up to 1k to get a decently smooth dynamesh or it looks like trash

@@iceshade1336 it could be because of the object size, or maybe you forgot to dynamesh it again? idk, i am a beginner too, just thoughts
