So their coach gets sacked and in the background of that press conference with the Souths CEO you could hear laughter in the background, that to me was very unprofessional. They have won one game all year which was very lucky after 9 rounds currently and have the worst for and against with -166 which is 79 points worse than the team with the second last for and against. This time last year they beat Melbourne, Brisbane and Penrith all in a row in a 6 game winning streak and we’re on top of the ladder and considered the new premiership heavyweights, how far this team has dropped since that time. I’m not even a Souths fan and it infuriates me that their players and interim coach are all having a chat and a laugh after being flogged against a team who wasn’t even anywhere near their best and still managed to pile on 42 points against them. No wonder this team is in shambles, no one cares and none of the players have any cohesion, it’s a team of individuals with massive ego’s. Wayne Bennet will fix this mob up and bring them back down to earth.

No surprises really. Injuries and out of form players at the same time. Campbell and Arrow are their workers and underrated. Losing them two at the same time for an extended period was worse than losing Latrell. Murray has been used up already this season, and looks a boxer who has punched above his weight to long. They have lost their first choice fullback (Latrell), centre (Campbell), two wingers (Johnston and Munro), Prop (Tatola) and both their halfbacks now. At the same time their 'marquee' players like Cook and Walker are trying hard, but with so many troops out, they are taking a pop gun to a gun fight each week. Management need to address their recruitment, they were going into this season light in front rowers and every club needs a rep quality 4 prop rotation to have an 80 minute go forward. As for their fitness, well a good halfback's kicking game gives you rests throughout the game. They have missed that since Reynolds left.
