Y’all might hate this one but this is exactly what’s going to happen at wrestlemania: Punk wins the Royal Rumble and faces Seth in night 1 main event. The Rock vs Roman is set for night 2 main event. Randy interferes with Cody’s “story” somehow and they face each other at Wrestlemania. The history between all three of these matches are there. Logically speaking, business wise, and story wise it makes the most sense. Cody will finish his “story” in next year’s Wrestlemania, making it one of the biggest build ups ever in pro wrestling.

Dropping the belt ANYWHERE aside from Mania is the worst decision. He's on a historic run, one of the longest runs in history, it only makes sense to drop it at Mania to signify the end of his run with the belt. There's usually two pay per views between the rumble and wm. So they say now that roman is not advertised but doesn't mean he can't be after the rumble. We also could have a different pay per view after the chamber but before mania. We don't need a triple threat between roman, Cody, & the rock. It should be roman vs cody with Cody winning. However a triple threat would allow roman to stay strong in the lose by him not taking the pin or submission.

I would book this way.. Royal Rumble is won by RAW superstar (CM Punk possibly).. So, elimination chamber match is scheduled for the Smackdown superstars.. We have Randy, AJ, LA Knight, Kevin Owens, Austin Theory as the 5 contestants.. There's room for one more.. It is also announced that Roman has to defend his title at Elimination Chamber PPV.. So, the winner of the Elimination Chamber match will face Roman on the same night.. Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce have a trade between Raw and Smackdown superstar.. Also, there's a mini Royal Rumble between the 5 contestants and the winner will be the last one to enter the Elimination Chamber match.. Randy wins the mini Royal Rumble.. However, Cody will be the first one to enter..This announcement makes all the 5 contestants unhappy..(Kinda like when Jey Uso was moved to RAW..But, here Cody doesn't have a Cody like Jey had)..At Elimination Chamber, it is announced that no RAW superstar or any contestant from the Elimination Chamber match is allowed to interfere in Roman's match.. While, Paul Heyman had made a deal with Triple H which allows the Bloodline members to be at ringside.. Cody wins the Chamber match.. Its Cody vs Roman... Cody is then beaten by the Bloodline.. The referee is down(It seems as a repetitive finish for Roman match). But, then Rock comes out...He takes out Solo and Roman.. Cody is still down.. Then Cody comes back and hits the Cross Rhodes..A referee comes out running.. Cody wins and finally finishes the story..

I really think the returns of Rock and Punk have effected the original plans BIG TIME. Cody vs Roman II was the initial plan about the whole “finishing the story” while Rollins could have gone against someone like Gunther or even Lesnar but who knows. Cody Rhodes now has a big test ahead of him to prove that he can be a long-term face of WWE because in my opinion the only reason he is even getting attention is because he lost to Roman thus having the fans sympathize with him. Even if he does win the title off Roman then what…? His title run will be stale considering the fickle nature of fans. The question still remains whether Cody is really “THE GUY” who deserves to end Roman’s undisputed title reign?

If randy won, the whole multi-year title reign would be for night, and Randy would just be a transitional champ. That sounds like a god awful way to end a historic title run. Now if you did Cody vs Roman at mania, and Cody won, he’d be pushed to the next level-and he would have defeated the biggest start in wwe who has literally beaten everyone. I hate that Cody lost at mania 39, but this year he has to win. Or a younger star like Carmelo hayes or even a returning big-e. Just not a veteran like Randy, that would ruin the whole story.

I felt the same way in 2022 and just wanted him to lose the damn belt and we can move on, but now in the triple H regime, if we just let him lose and move on, it wouldn’t feel right. They have the chance now to make the ending of Roman’s story end with a boom, instead of a whimper.

There is no Hogan record. Hogan does not hold the record for longest title reign, that belongs to Bruno. Roman would be the third longest reigning champion behind Backlund and Bruno, who held the belt for far longer.

Roman vs the rock Roman wins clean but tries to attack the rock after the match to which Jimmy Jey and Solo stop him and turn on him which brings out Cody Rhodes to cash in and close out the show with a reinvented bloodline without Roman and Cody finishing his story

So here's my hot take I don't know if you'll post it or not put WWE has definitely dropped the ball with Cody in order to make Roman Reigns Title reign more historic in their words. I don't know if anyone else feels this way but there is no chance in hell Romans dropping that belt anywhere else but a WrestleMania so if Roman faces the Rock at WrestleMania you're going to have to wait another year for Cody to get that opportunity and at this point it feels like Cody's momentum will be gone

Everyone has been coming up with plans to INCLUDE Cody Rhodes winning the title at wrestlemania, but here’s my thing…..why would Cody want to win the title at wrestlemania NOT being in the main event or win the title from anyone else other than Roman Reigns? I would rather have Cody winning wait just a little bit longer that way he can defeat Roman Reigns at his highest point, rather than him winning at Wrestlemania “ Just because he needs it to be at Wrestlemania “. Cody just main evented Wrestlemania last year which is something only 70 people have done in its entire history…….thats awesome, he has shown SINCE then his ability to carry a program with any talent on any level and make that program feel large, or important. Cody can do the same thing here for Wrestlemania. Cody vs Gunther is a high profile match, Cody vs. Randy orton in a singles feud is high profile, these are two options that are good and legit. Just because Cody isn’t main eventing Wrestlemania this year or finishing his story at wrestlemania this year doesn’t mean that he’ll lose importance or momentum. Rock and Roman for the title is the Wrestlemania main event this year, Cody WILL survive that, and if he can survive it, all the fans can survive it too.

I’m Australian but I was NOT okay with the rock vs roman at the elimination chamber because let’s say this is the rocks last match then it would be a crappy send off then retire in your 50s in the Australian summer heat for your trouble I think the rock is a bit of a concussed goofball always ordering at restaurants and saying it’s his 1st time eating there even though he records the same video from the same restaurants I’m gonna put that down to mass concussions or… I don’t know.. but he deserves a better send off then that Which is why I propose they move that to survivor series Gives enough time to get in shape and brings meaning to it I know the whole Father Time thing but rock has always had a busy schedule 9 months won’t make a difference when flairs going at 74 But Wwe has a story it needs to finish and with someone like the rock you can’t throw it away or stuff it up or do it on what’s gonna essentially feel like a themed live event

I've been saying this for a long time now Cody never beats Randy so him beating Randy will be a big achievement whether they are doing a one off match at mania or plans a trilogy up until SummerSlam. With Randy can legit be the Heal that would work perfectly . That will allow for a Roman v Rock for their dynasty in the mania which can go both ways . If they fight for the title then I'm pretty sure the outcome will be obvious. And for the matter of Cody defeating Roman who was the guy for the last 4 years , Roman ain't going nowhere they can headline a rematch at the next mania which might not be the case with Rock

The only thing that makes sense is Rock at Elimination Chamber and Cody at Mania. Anything else is a mistake, it’s really not that complicated. He skipped Survivor Series, he had a month off after that. You’re telling me he does Rumble and doesn’t wrestle again until Wrestlemania??? Come on now, stop it. Nobody should take the belt off Roman but Cody at this point. Randy is the greatest heel of all time, the Rock is the Rock. Neither of them need it whatsoever. Cody needs the win, this was his Mania match, and they made the fans wait a full year to see it again. If Roman doesn’t do EC, then he needs to fight the Rock next year when he doesn’t have the belt.

i feel like cody vs roman should go down at mania, with the rock maybe playing a role in roman being pinned/losing the title then, getting a taste of his own medicine from outside interference. this further causes a dissension in the bloodline since roman doesn’t have the title anymore. the rest of the bloodline leaves roman, leaving him all alone in the rematch clause against cody. roman losing again bc he has no help. that can further roman’s need to be acknowledged & you can have him challenge the rock at next years mania for the head of the table title

I remember someone (maybe Geekdom, but I don't actually remember who) throwing out the idea of Cody and Roman doing both nights like a year or so ago. Cody vs. whoever else it is he's fueding with and Roman vs. Rock (or whoever else in case Rock no-showed) on night 1, and then Cody vs. Roman on Night 2. I'd personally like that just cuz then people could have their Rock vs. Roman match and we can be done with it, and we can have Cody finally win the belt. I really do not care at all for Rock vs. Roman becausewe all know Roman's 100% winning and we all know how he's gonna win, I really don't wanna see two part timers Main Eventing Mania, and I'm way past tired of Roman as champion. Also, something tells me that the actual match won't be all that great.
