The Rams had some pretty good blocking schemes that hopefully Grubb and the guys can implement into the offense. Also if we are going to continue with the deeper long developing plays then Geno is going to be under pressure and take some sacks. Maybe we can try some short passes that act as long handoffs to the backs on the corners or some quick passes to get in favorable down and distance and keep Geno upright? Playoffs? 9-8 is probably best case scenario if that gets a wild card but we could be looking at 7-10 at worst.

No they won't. I don't believe Geno is consistent enough to pull that off. One game he's the best in the league, next the worst. Our defense is trying. But they can get rest to keep playing at the top of they're game.

The theory that we have to remain buyers because we already started buying is a bad one. It's bad in poker, and it's bad in the NFL. There's a difference between protecting and acquiring draft capitol and tanking. We have a historically bad offensive line. Our guards are close to last place in both penalties and pressures out of 130 active players. Our average of 3rd and 8.9 yards to go is the worst of any NFL team since 1980. Historically bad. There is definitely blood in the water in the NFC west, and it may seem enticing to go all in to steal a cheap playoff spot at 9-8. What's the point of sacrificing draft capitol to drag a O-line that sucks so hard on a generational scale into the playoffs, though?
