I discovered your channel today and I am so excited! I'm of indian descent, living in Europe. I watch a lot of make up gurus on KZbin. But it's hard to imagine how certain looks will look on me and whether they will suit me as the bigger channels are american. So I have watched make up channels by black women a lot for tips as I am brown and I get a better idea what it will look like on my skin. But their skin is very different from ours. Indian channels I saw often did not have the right technique or just not up to standard. So thank you! Finally a brown girl with the make up skills and ideas that I can actually use. @@MrJovitageorge My mom went to a laser clininc in New Zealand (run by an indian) and she burnt my mom's face and blamed my mom for it (hate people like that), now mom has these deep dark scars that just dont go away even after so many burn laser treatments. I spent 5 times more money than my mom to go to a professional well reputed place & its a lot of money spent but at-least i know these people know what they are doing. Also your hair is very likely to come back after pregnancy since your hormones change :( and you sholdnt wax after getting laser because once you wax you introduce blood flow back to the follicle and it starts growing again. Number 1 thing i learnt getting laser that the lady didnt tell my mom, sunscreen & sun protection is extremely important from that point on. :)

Regarding the last question about getting more hairy, there are areas of the body that are more hormonally sensitive than others. Where I went (a really reputable place) they never do shoulders and hips on women as those are extremely sensitive, and they had to patch test for upper back.

Thanks for this! Just wanted to add to the notes that in the case of grey or white hair laser removal isn't supposed to be effective. I believe ultrasound removal is the new solution for this and ofcourse old fashioned electrolysis. This in case any older women are considering it.

If you’re curious why you can’t laser over tattoos it’s because the yag laser frequency is the same frequency they use for tattoo removal (obviously at different settings)

My experience was very much different. I didn't get any rash nor bumps. The underarms was the most painful (just got it done for the first time yesterday) and I read that it is the most painful area to laser on your body. I first started with the bikini area (two weeks ago) and I have done only one session on that area! However I see results already! Where my hair isn't growing as it did before and some just falls right off.

So never really thought of opting for this,but i guess its quite normal to opt for a laser hair removal treatment but it should definitely be done by a professional and its better to opt for a reputed clinic.Glad you pointed out that one should not go for discounts or something,as i too have heard amateur skin clinics luring their customers and then then providing terrible results!! Hey Jovi, I had it about 7 years ago and it works. The hair that grows back for me is minimal on my legs much less thick. I noticed them shave your megs just before they lasered it. .. you're meant to shave at least 10hours before a laser session. Freshly shaved legs are too sensitive and you'll risk burning/scarring the skin.

Laser isn't painful at all but a little hot nothing else.... It's much much less painful as compared to threading or waxing

Watched your video and then went to ideal image for laser hair removal. BEST decision and money well spent in years. I have PCOS and had hair all over my face. My first treatment was very successful but a little painful. I feel like I have my life back again. I was feeling very insecure. What I will tell people is DON'T go to these places that charge $200. They don't have the licensed staff and correct equipment. You get what you pay for. Again, my life will never be the same again.

Anyone planning on going for laser hair removal please look up and find a reputable place. Laser does hurt but it should be tolerable. In my experience shaving thick dark hair led to me having ingrown and hyperpigmentation and laser did wonders for me. I have gotten laser sessions over 7 years professionally, and it greatly minimized my hair. Helped with my hyperpigmentation and never had a negative side effect. Most hair hasn't grown back, but SOME has, and for that you need touch up sessions. I just purchased a home IPL, not as strong as a professional one I suppose but I hope I get good results.

Does a laser distance have to touch the skin to effectively remove hair? When I got my laser hair removal session the laser didn’t even touch my skin at all just gazed over my legs and it was done so fast 20 mins tops

I had IPL laser on my underarms and Brazilian area. It didn't do a whole lot. The top half of my brazilian area is finer and grows alot slower and is patchy compared to the rest. I had 10 sessions. I am pale and have dark hair. It was a waste of money for me
