Pakistani here. I have literally the same problems as you stated. I am waxing now a days and just waxing on my arms is so painful and my skin reacts so negatively and stays red and itchy for days.

It really depends. You can do full face for about $30. I know the struggles, laser has worked amazing on me!

Sure you can go out and apply sunscreen after laser. you can even apply makeup too if you like, but yes offcourse the skin will be a bit red and bumpy, but nothing to worry about :)

Yes I love laser, it has definitely helped me in reducing my hair growth and thinning my hair. There are a few at home treatments you can use, but you would need to research them and see if theyre available in your country!

How are the results for the back and chest area ? Are you still getting hair there ? Those areas have thinner hair i’m afraid it won’t work well

Chest area amazing!!!! no hair there anymore :) but the back is very hormonal, so there is still hair, but it's very fine - some people will just have to do laser more than others and I'm okay with it. If you are worried about the thinner hair, dw your laser technician should be able to advise you.

I'm wondering if you are still seeing hair reduction after 8 years of laser or if you have made it the point where u have reduced your hair as far as possible and are just maintaining touch ups. From everything ive learned most people should see around 70-80% reduction but the 8th treatment. But since you say you still have hair far beyond that amount of treatments, I'm thinking either you are super meticulous and hyperfocused on tiny hairs or maybe you have reached maximum level of reduction for your body? Also wondering what company you use, the type of laser they use, and the average cost you pay per year if you don't mind sharing?

I do still get normal amounts of hair on my face, arms and thigh areas. Other areas I do not have any hair growth, so it's still quite beneficial for me to get laser done. My laser technician uses the candela laser pro I believe (but don't quote me on that). Each session for me for full body is $200AUD and i get it done every 3-4 months now :)

Hello! i have a question, i have been getting laser removal as well. i have some facial hair as well. since i started the hair on my face seems to get thicker And more then i had before i started... is that part of the process.. or ?

If you had little hair to begin with, you shouldnt have done laser in the first place, as this hair will constantly grow back and in fact thicker. For me had alot of hair to begin with so had to get it done. Please speak with you laser consultant :)

Just to clarify it is a common misconception that surface level hair removal can change the way your hair grows. Hair growth is determined by genetics and hormones. Shaving the hair is surface level and the hair grows at the follicle. It is a myth that shaving can make hair grow back thicker. With procedures such as waxing or laser you are damaging the follicle which can cause the hairs to grow back weaker, thinner, and in some cases (if u do enough damage) not at all. However in rare cases where there is little hair or peach fuzz, the laser might actually stimulate dormant hair follicles, causing thicker hair to grow where it wasn't before.

I think for me it has grown in areas where it previously didnt before, but Im okay with that, bc at least I don't have to do threading/waxing every week. This lasts me 5 weeks and body laser lasts me about 2 months :)

@@904Kellyy this is what I’m debating. They told me I have to shave my face before getting the laser hair removal and those words alone are terrifying! We all know never to shave our face! But for the treatment to be effective you must shave your face. I’m afraid it will make things much worse. And I don’t have the money to get laser treatment done every month , especially if shaving makes it worse which I know it will 😩
