Peppermint was already super famous prior to drag Race ! She has been on Broadway afterward and is heavely invested in raising awareness and justice in regards to trans rights and the community. I think she accomplished great things despite not winning the show.😊

Two things about this season: 1. Imagine the power Nina would’ve had if she had gotten the role she deserved in the rusical and won two challenges. 2. Even on the weeks Nina was safe she still should’ve lipsynced just to give the audience a SHOW she’s just that good

Season 9 was during 2017 which was one of the best years of my life before some tragedies happened. I dearly miss watching this season live and i remember all details. A bit of disappointment when Jaymes was eliminated first (i wanted her to prove everyone wrong because all people told that she's the 1st to go just because of her shyness), then all shenanigans with Nina/Shea and Alexis vs everyone, Farrah elimination getting leaked, all waiting to see if Valentina's mask gate was true or not, then Peppermint defying everyone and making it to finals in big 4, then top 4 twist with lipsync finale. This was best season in my head.
