***** Yes amiibo are better because of DI. Even if you DI as a player they will still take less knock back. I have a video about the damage amiibo do, it's pretty old though.

they also have a self learning AI inside of them and they all learn based on your battles offline and online, your own style, and from the games best recommend play style. Essentially this is what makes the most sense out of anything and that metal plate on the bottom has its own data stored on your system not really on the amiibos themselves but this is pretty much what I thought of that again, makes the most sense.

Amiibo kill me early because I'm a pro player and they've adapted to me. For example, Diddy ditto-ing my Diddy amiibo to train it, caused my Diddy amiibo to, "Down throw - bair - bair - regrab - up throw - up air" me. Which is what I do to it a lot sometimes. Amiibo are fucking smart. Not as entertaining as fighting project m level 9's though

Technically, it does.... My Kirby amiibo learned to taunt after seeing me taunt when KO'i him many times. Marth amiibo always used shield breaker every time when obivously a opponent uses shield. I trained him to do that, I seen other Marth amiibo that don't do this most of the time. Peach amiibo learned to punish. That's a move I didn't teached her. She learned it after fighting my friend who mained Peach. So technically Amiibo CAN learn. Unless I have extremely good luck getting OP amiibo.

Well... rather forget than learn. If the amiibo detects the player doing something less often or if not at all, the amiibo does not do it anymore (until deleted). Usually it just requires repetition of a move(s) There are a few videos out there with a stage that "levels" up amiibo to 50 even after doing noting but leaving it on time battle for a long time, and they say that amiibo have a skillset unlocked by leveling up, so they adapt instead of learn. Either way, I'm not collecting amiibo out of the box from now on. EDIT: The reason for as to why I won't use them if I collect: Damage multipliers. If they removed that, I would have a stockpile of (open) amiibo boxes on my shelf. Kappa
