Theres a quarrel between you two the uncles will interfere if they dont want you as a son in law they have power to kick you out of the family and cut ties with you. You a husband will never have any power over property or over your family. If you cheat on her after marriage you will have to face all her uncles and vice versa. So think thrice before you think twice before marrying a garo girl.

We went to Shillong Meghalaya in 2019 I didn't know that tourist are not allowed to see Shillong point Indian government should allow us who were born in Meghalaya but live abroad to have special permission to enter. I miss my Motherland Meghalaya. Thanks for the video

I'm from Shillong. Grandad is from Mawlynnong. Schooled in the best Educational Institution (Pine Mount School) in the Northeast. I'm blessed to get a touch of everything good here. But I want to emphasize here regarding the weather -- Well, I proudly say and hoping that everybody staying in Shillong agrees to the fact that we are blessed with great weather!! Summer or Winter, both are bearable,,, summers don't heat up like that in the cities 🔥 and winters don't snow here. Wrong, while my way to mawlynnong I was walking in a street with my husband than suddenly one guy came and he touched my hand and to the limit trying to touch my thigh, than my husband scolded him and he ran away Second experience I would also like to share while walking towards sacred Grove some small boys took off their pants and doing inappropriate actions towards me, and these two incidents shook me from inside i was really scared for dayz

We do not say pan like normally north Indian people would say . Here, in actual Pan is called as 'Tympew' (leaves) & how you say 'guwa/tamul' for betel nut is 'Kwai' in Meghalaya. It being everywhere, is solely due to the fact that it is grown as a potential commercial crop.
