Hey guys. I hear you and it breaks my heart that the idea of this video hurt anyone’s feelings. The goal of my video was to show that you don’t need money to have fun with your friends and I wanted to show that in a fun way. I changed the thumbnail and title because I completely agree that it looked intensive and I should have thought that through much better. Ive gone through financial struggles myself and I didn’t even know what Gucci was for most of my life. I never want people to think that having money makes you happy because it doesn’t. I’m grateful and proud that I was able to work hard and afford things I never could as a kid but that doesn’t equal happiness. Spending time with my friends for free was the most fun I’ve had on my channel in a long time and I hope that message shines through. I’m so sorry for offending anyone and I really do just wanna make you guys happy with my videos. Looking back I should have focused more on the message rather than trying to make it funny. Please know my heart is always in the right place.

Coming from someone who grew up poor I understand why people could be offended by the idea of this video but i also wanna let people know that this was actually my idea. I told ryland I wanted to do a video showing people how much fun you can have with your friends for free and I told him about stuff I used to do when i was young. I was really excited to see what he did with it and that he showed how much fun you can have with your friends without the need for material items or fancy locations. I totally understand how people could be hurt by the idea of turning “having no money” into a challenge but I also think the message is something that is important. it’s not money or gucci that makes people happy... it’s quality time together. the saturday’s i spent at costco with my mom eating free samples and getting a free donut after at krispy kreme are some of my best memories from my life. And yes, dumpster diving is illegal but the amount of times i did that with my brother during the summer time probably should have put me in jail haha Anyways, I just wanted to leave a comment because i wanted u guys to know i understand, i feel you, but i also hope u can see the message behind it all and that it came from a good place. ryland doesn’t have a bad bone in his body and hes the most caring generous man i know. :,)

this video came out while i was homeless and i sat in the downtown public library of my city mooching off of their wifi (as always) and watched this, and i felt nothing but comfort. i still come back and watch it sometimes because to me, even if some things werent worded the best, it just feels so humanizing and nice seeing others try to show their audiences that money isnt the most important thing and that you can have fun and spend quality time with the people you love without having much in the bank. im glad that every time i come back to this video the replies are more and more positive and understanding of the true motive of the video

Videos like this can sometimes come off like people using public services with limited amounts of money are being dangerous criminals or cheating the system which leads to so many of us feeling ashamed for using free services provided by our own community. I'm glad that you and others are trying to change the perspective that you really dont need money to enjoy yourself.

Miss Lindsayyy see that’s how some or most dirt poor people are like, such as myself! We think of ways to find what’s fun for us and going to parks and hanging out are fun and even just going to a mall and hanging out there is fun which is actually what me and my sister and my sisters boyfriend and friend will be doing tomorrow! But yes, if anything those that aren’t exactly rich or can’t afford to get comfort food or go to places that cost, it actually gives us a brighter idea of fun! And what fun is actually about! And honestly I give Ryland props for actually jumping that wall to get to the dumpster and props to shane for the idea of the video itself and Ryland executing it! Jammin_purple haha yessss!! The kids I went to school with were very wealthy and well I.... I definitely was not. So I remember always hearing friends parents bitch and complain about all the kids and teenagers that would just go “loiter” at the mall and not buy anything and it just always struck a cord with me because they had no clue what they were talking about. I’d say 99% of those “loiterers” were literally just kids trying to stay out of trouble and occupy ourselves because we didn’t have money or were with others that didn’t have money to just go and blow on a million dollar box of candy and bucket of popcorn at the movies! Us regular folks will keep on keeping on with our pennies! And probably have more fun than the rich anyways!! I hope you had fun at the mall! :))

We literally only spent money on food and a bit of candy at the candy store in the mall and it was so funny cause we just looked at stuff and talked and there were even those kid rides that they have at the mall that you put quarters in to make it come to life and move and well sadly I couldn’t fit but our friend she did fit and it was so funny cause she was just sitting in a helicopter!🤣🤣🤣 but yeah most kids go to the mall to hang and not get into trouble but they still get eyes on them thinking they’ll do shit but they don’t 😂
