I personally like experience of journey till the caves.. the way is undoubtedly very beautiful and a different kind of experience altogether. The caves are definitely nothing great... Its worth for the journey and not the destination 😊

You may take a halt and see the limestone caves.. or else you may continue your journey straight to Diglipur where Ross and Smith Islands are... How much is the price to rent a car From port Blair to Diglipur with baratang lime Stone cave..

It's between 18-20k... The car stays with you for 3 days as it's a 3day trip to North Andaman from Port Blair... The price includes fuel, car parking and permits... But you must clarify all the these with your vehicle provider beforehand.. 😊

Borra caves near Aruku are bigger, with proper pathways and lighting. But the journey to the caves in Baratang is superb. (Boat, mangroves, forest and fields)

Hey Rishika... If you're planning for your parents I would suggest that you plan in November or later... As September is monsoon... There are chances of ferries getting cancelled and they not being able to go around... There have been too many crocodile sightings in Baratang recently as per the local news that I follow which has kept the limestone area closed... November onwards chances are higher for a obstruction free holiday 😊
