I've been to Berlin twice and absolutely loved it both times! I took a cruise along the river around museum island and that was beautiful. I also took a day tour to sachsenhausen concentration camp and the 1936 olympic stadium, which are both located on the outskirts of Berlin. I can't wait to go again!

I love Berlin...My favourite places are Potsdamerplatz, Tiergarten, the Kurfürstendamm and the zoo, the main station looks nice too...

Thanks for this video. I’m going to visit Berlin in February 2020. This introduction to famous spots was especially excited in moment about Berlin Wall. In my opinion it is really unique city with rich history retrospective. I’m fond of it!

You mentioned all the "must sees" of Berlin. I would strongly recommend to take a day extra to visit Potsdam a city located near the border of Berlin and the beautyfull park & palace Sanssouci. Also while going to Curry 36, take a walk through Bergmannstraße (there are also many other good places to eat Currywurst, for example "Konnopke" near the subway station Eberswalder Straße). The Döner Kebab is probably the most eaten Berlin dish nowadays (also it doesn´t contain pork like the Currywurst). You´ll find a lot of good places around. Well done! Best regards from a Berliner.

A very nice Biergarten to go to is Jockel Biergarten, in Kreuzberg - south of the Görlitzer Park This is at the border of the Landwehrkanal and is so enjoyable in spring and summer!

I just lived in Berlin for 3 months. Prenzlauerberg is one of the most interesting neighbourhoods, because the have a great etmosfeer, the most restaurants & Mauerpark is there aswell. Museum Insel is also real intresting

Thank you for the question. If you want to be very central you could try to get a hotel in the Mitte district. We stayed Charlotenburg, which is in West Berlin when we there because it was close to a work function. We liked staying there and we were able to get eveywhere by Subway. Berlin is affordable relative to other parts of Germany so hopefully you will be able to find a great place to stay..

Can anyone tell me about the berlin welcome card? I'm going to Berlin in march and I'm staying roughly an hour away from the main attractions. I've seen there is a welcome card that acts as a travel pass on all berlin public transport. I'm just not sure if its available for the bus routes near my hotel and would love if anyone could assist me as nothing online has helped

Thanks for the great question, hopefully, a local will be able to provide so help for you. Where exactly are you staying near Berlin? We didn't use the Berlin card but we did get an unlimited multi-day transit pass that we used for the Subway and buses which was very helpful. The Berlin card provide extra value if you are visiting a lot of museums and other paid attractions.

Thank you for both of your replies. I am staying in the Mark apart hotel. There is a bus stop round the corner. I believe the street where it is located is called U UhlandstraBe. The buses I can use to get to some of the main attractions are numbers: 100,109,110 and 249. I can also use the train on the U1 line to get to the reichstag. Are these covered in the pass? Also when trying to get to and from the airport I can use the X7 and U7. Are these also covered? And for curiosity how much is the average bus/train ticket? As I'm not quite sure if it is worth it buying the pass.
